Newly renovated Villa Kouvelia, just 100km from Athens and 25km from Chalkida, overlooks mountain, sea, vineyards and olive groves in every direction from its many balconies and verandas. "Kouvelia" offers a tranquil escape from which you can explore the local villages, our beautiful island, and the wider region of Greece. Our mountain village of Nerotrivia is a ten minute walk (up hill!!) and our beaches are a ten minute drive along one of the most beautiful drives on the island. We reside between the sea the mountain, both which have sustained us since antiquity (as you’ll find in our local tavernas) and which offer endless possibilities for exploring or for simple refuge from the hustle and bustle of our modern lives. If you miss some of that hustle and bustle, the capital city of Chalkis, 20 minutes away, is a thriving town with cafes, restaurants, and clubs to keep you entertained till sunrise. If you visit, you’ll be among our friends and families, and if your not careful, you likely join us as such!

We are an active agricultural region so will communicate with guest to facilitate our vineyard harvest (one day in late Summer) and olive harvest (several scattered days in late Fall/Winter).
