Nestled in historic Nacogdoches, TX sits a uniquely vintage renovated 1940's home. This home is centrally located to everything Nacogdoches has to offer from the Historic brick streets of downtown to the beautiful campus of Stephen F. Austin State University. Offering three full bedrooms, queen sleeper sofa, and two full bathrooms, the Martin Haus is the perfect home away from home for a weekend retreat or extended stay! The home is fully furnished and stocked with basic amenities needed for your stay!

The home has a full kitchen with range, microwave, dishwasher, and coffeemaker. There is a full-sized washer and dryer in the home.

The front bedroom has a king size bed with flat screen TV. The middle bedroom has a queen size bed with flat screen TV, and the back bedroom has a trundle bed with two single beds and flat scree tv.. The living room sleeper sofa includes an additional queen bed.

The house has a charming front porch with porch swing for your morning coffee, the backyard offers the perfect set-up for an afternoon BBQ with outdoor seating, grill, and firepit! We look forward to welcoming you into his adorable property for your next visit to the Oldest Town in Texas!

Location was fantastic. Easy walk to downtown or the campus. The house was clean, loved the swing on the front porch, the beds were comfortable, plenty of extra blankets and pillows.

The Bird House

We saw so many different birds at this central location, close to all the goodie food joints and shopping areas, but also very quiet and peaceful at night. It was stocked and ready like you never left home. A wonderful weekend away.

Ever Been To Nacogdoches?

This was a perfect location that was close in proximity to old downtown and so much more. The place was very clean and comfortable with plenty of space. I plan on coming back in the near future and would definitely book again.

This house is fantastic. The location is within walking distance of downtown, Java Jacks, the best coffee house in town, and plenty of things to do. The house is beautiful, well apportioned, and we would stay here again.

The property was terrific. We enjoyed the firepit and easy walk to downtown. The only hiccup was not being able to get in on the day of our booking, but the owner got it straightened out the next day and refunded more than the one day we couldn't get in. We would stay at this property again without question!

Campus/Alma Mater visit

We had a delightful weekend visiting Nacogdoches with our son (a recent SFA graduate) and our daughter, who is considering transferring to SFA next year. The house was perfect for this. It was comfortable, attractive and close to everything. We would definitely stay here again.

Peace in the Piney Woods!

Great Location in Historic town!

My wife and I came up for a weekend to do some exploring of local Texas history. This house is in a great location. Grocery store, coffee house, restaurants, all within walking distance. We loved exploring the city on foot, particularly the local university. House was very clean, and very well decorated. We felt safe in the neighbourhood and even did some late night walking. Would stay here again.

Great little house with everything you need

This was a great little house with everything we needed for a short stay in Nacogdoches. Only two negatives for us was that the street traffic was noisy at night and the beds a little too soft for us. But other than that is was very nicely decorated and the perfect size for what we needed!

Great Home

This was a nice clean home. The home was a great place to visit with family. The only issue is people drive really fast down the street. Street needs at least a speed limit sign or some speed bumps.
