Esta casita de una sola planta era antes el antiguo cobertizo de macetas, luego la Oficina de Bienes y ahora es una casita idílica, situada en una posición aislada en su propio terreno ajardinado en el extremo sudoeste de la Villa.

La puerta de entrada conduce a un pasillo largo (con espacio para colgar el saco) con todas las habitaciones abiertas. En orden a pie, se le lleva al cuarto de baño (con cabina de ducha, inodoro y lavabo separados); amplia cocina / comedor de planta abierta (con horno, vitrocerámica, nevera con congelador, microondas y lavavajillas); Amplia sala de estar con grandes ventanales que ofrecen fabulosas vistas de los jardines y el pueblo (equipadas con chimenea, dos sofás cama individuales para huéspedes ocasionales, CTV, DVD), habitaciones dobles bien equipadas. generosa habitación doble; cuarto de baño (con bañera, baño con ducha eléctrica, inodoro y lavabo)

El aparcamiento se encuentra en la gran área de grava en el extremo norte del edificio.

Wonderful in every way

We could not have enjoyed Garden Cottage more! Thoroughly modern and comfortable inside and in a charming, peaceful setting. The staff at Melfort Village were so kind and helpful also. I would recommend this cottage/Melfort Village to anyone.

Lovely weekend

We stayed for 2 nights in the Garden Cottage and would love to have stayed for longer. We were a couple with my 90 year old father and the cottage was perfect - all on the level and well laid out. My dad loved it. The cottage was pretty from the outside and inside, had everything we could possibly need. The big kitchen diner was great for eating in and the lounge very comfortable. We were impressed with the wifi and the staff at reception were great. A really quick and courteous check in and likewise on our way out. We have stayed at Melfort before and enjoyed walks round about the place as well as a trip to Oban. Would love to come back again. Thank you.

Wonderful retreat

This was our first time at Melfort Village. The setting was beautiful and the surroundings peaceful. The reception staff were so welcoming and helpful. We hired the garden cottage and it was great. Comfortable and clean with plenty of room. We loved our time at Melfort and there was so much to do. Will definitely be back!

Back again

It is now over 20 years since we discovered Melfort Village and we have only missed our annual visit twice in that time. As visitors at the start of the season we enjoy the peace and quiet of Scotland in the winter. You have to go no further than your front door to see the rugged beauty. Our cottage, Garden Cottage is cosy, comfortable and well equipped. It has a nice little garden...hence the name. Most years we view it from the sitting room windows although this year it was warm enough to extend the time filling up the bird feeder. Lots of birds to be seen also red squirrels and this year a deer in the garden. The walking in the area is a total joy and it is suitable for almost every type of walking from stroll to strenuous. The staff are delightful and nothing seems to be a trouble to them. So a quick review of not just one year but nearly 20 years,” we love it and hope to be back many more times”.

I'll be back!

Upon arrival at Melfort village, we were greeted in reception like old friends. A wealth of information about things to do in the local area was offered - nothing was too much trouble. The cottage was beautifully appointed and immaculately clean and had every home comfort to ensure a super stay. We were blessed with fabulous weather but still took advantage of the pool, Jacuzzi, putting green and bike hire. The immediate area surrounding Melfort Village is quite simply stunning and it was a super base from which to explore. My family and I loved our stay so much we made enquiries whilst there about our return! I couldn't recommend a visit strongly enough. Thank you Melfort Village for a most relaxing, refreshing and enjoyable stay.

Home From Home In Comfrort.

Garden Cottage at Melfort Village is everything you want it to be.. Warm cosy extremely comfortable and everything you need. Dare I say even romantic if you light the fire on a wintry evening. We cheated and put candles Both bathrooms are lovely in the fire grate and tea lights on the hearth. Perfect. Plenty of private parking. And a beautiful little garden. With a full banking of snowdrops. Heaven!

Fantastic Holiday In The Garden Cottagr

My mum, dad, myself and my children had a fantastic week in the Garden Cottage. The cottage has excellent parking facilities and being on one level made such a difference as I am on crutches. The cottage was fully equipped and beautifully furnished. The swimming pool, games rooms, play room, tennis courts, play park and enclosed field we could let our dog off in meant we didn't have to travel far to keep the children amused. The restaurant served delicious food and the waiter and waitress were so friendly. We really enjoyed the local singers and band who entertained us on the Monday evening. The staff in the shop/ reception were again very friendly and helpful. We would definitely recommend Melfort Village as a place to go on holiday. Hope to go back next year.

Our first visit to Melfort. Really enjoyed our stay . Found the cottage to be spotlessly clean - If my wife doesn't find anything , it must be clean! Olwyn at reception was a great help , always free for a chat . Will definitely be back

Another great stay!

This was our second visit to Melfort Village and it won't be our last! First class accommodation. Staff at reception were so helpful. Very happy to recommend and look forward to returning in due course. Great location for walking and for ferry trips. We did Kerrera and Coll this time
