Shorewaters Cottage has been sympathetically renovated for holiday lettings and offers stylish living accommodation in neutral, contemporary tones. It can comfortably accommodate six people and features two double bedrooms, both with river views, a third bedroom with a bunk bed, and a spacious open-plan living/kitchen, and dining area. There is also a bathroom with a shower over the bath and an additional first-floor wet room.
Positioned on a quiet backwater street, Shorewaters is located within easy walking distance of Appledore’s bustling quay and quaint village, which hosts a wide range of cafés, public houses and boutique shops. From the quay, you can take either the ferry across the river or enjoy the short drive to Instow, which offers a quiet inlet and a dog-friendly sandy beach along with a selection of pubs and restaurants specialising in locally caught seafood. The historic port town of Bideford is just two miles away, as is the sandy beach of Westward Ho!, which is popular with surfers, windsurfers and beach lovers alike. Alternative popular beaches, including Croyde, Woolacombe and Combe Martin, are also still within a short drive from the cottage. There are plenty of local attractions and amenities nearby, including Northam golf course, horse riding stables, an indoor swimming pool, fishing, sailing and water skiing facilities.
