Located in the centre of Grassington or Darrowby, as it is known in the TV series " All Creatures Great and Small", offering lovely shops and hospitality venues and walks within the Dales National Park.. 1 step to entrance.

All on the Ground Floor:

Bedroom: Kingsize (5ft) Bed

Bathroom: Bath With Shower Over, Heated Towel Rail, Toilet. Gas central heating, gas, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. . Shared courtyard with garden bench. Private parking for 1 car. No smoking.. Tucked away just off the main square in a delightful courtyard location, this ground floor holiday apartment combines its original features with the comforts of modern living and the advantage of a designated car parking space directly outside. We have a small area outside with a bench seat for catching the sun. It lies within the centre of Grassington, which has a wide selection of country shops, pubs and restaurants, and makes an ideal base from which to walk or tour the wonderful Yorkshire Dales National Park. In June Grassington plays host to a Music and Arts Festival which draws a wide variety of well known performers and in September Grassington hosts a 1940’s weekend. December brings the Christmas market to the village. The bustling market town of Skipton with its Norman castle, canal trips and golf course can be reached within 10 miles. Nearby there are pubs, restaurants, coffee shops and individual shops selling a wide variety of local treasures, as well as a post office and supermarket and a bus service to get you back. Alternatively, for those who enjoy a spa experience, Long Ashes, 1.5miles away, offers an indoor swimming pool and beauty therapy. National Trust properties and sites are a short drive away.

Firstly very pleased with the centrally located property and private parking space. Apartment was excellent and the welcome hamper much appreciated. We had a fabulous holiday and the fact we were able to take our three dogs free if charge was what finally clinched it for us. We all had an enjoyable holiday. We would definitely highly recommend it and would stay here again. There was plenty of walks and it was like being in our own Christmas village.

Had a lovely 3 night stay here ! It was great ! Tucked away in the little courtyard so central to everything! Lovely welcome pack and it had everything you could need ! Will definitely be back again !

This was a lovely cottage and very comfortable but it could've done with a more thorough clean and I know its pet friendly but the Dog smell was very strong but would recommend and stop again in future

Cleaning was not as the same standard, when we visited in September floors in kitchen and bathroom, required cleaning. The front outside door mat needs replacing and also the toilet brush. However it did not spoil our enjoyment.

Lovely spacious apartment, very well equipped.

Lovely spacious apartment, very well equipped. Ideally situated for all amenities in Grassington. No worries about where to park the car either! We have already recommended this property to others and will definitely stay again ourselves.

Perfect cottage

What a lovely cottage it ticked all the boxes !! Location is great as in the heart of Grassington but as it’s just tucked away from Main Street it still manages to feel really peaceful , we will definitely return.

Overall very nice, a few minor issues light bulbs not working in bathroom and lounge, cooker hood no lights working. TV limited channels. Limited space outside but that comes with it's situation, however outside seating for Fern House directly under the bedroom window could be an issue, in warm weather. Well equipped and would recommend highly, having operated holiday lets for many years we know how hard it is to maintain standards, so well done.

This was our second time visting this cottage and we love the location.

This was our second time visting this cottage and we love the location. It was however slightly disappointing that the Living Area floor and coffee table had not been cleaned and were covered in dog/possibly cat hair.

Amazing property in the perfect location

We had a fantastic time staying in Grassington, the apartment had everything we needed and was really warm and snug after a day out walking. In the centre of the village on the square so plenty on your doorstep, having a private parking space is a great advantage too. We will be booking to return on our next visit to Grassington

Beautiful accommodation in a beautiful village. There's a spar opposite. Car parking outside and pet friendly, great facilities, we got there late on a snowy night and it was really easy to get settled.

This is a pet friendly cottage in a pet friendly village, the village has many independent shops and tea rooms in addition to three good pubs all within walking distance. The cottage comes with parking and is set just off the village square. This is our fourth visit in the last 3 years

When we arrived there was a bad smell in the kitchen.

When we arrived there was a bad smell in the kitchen. The previous occupiers had left an open sachet of dog food and dog biscuits. The oven is really dirty, could do with a professional clean now and again, and a frying pan had been put away covered in grease. The grill had been used for something and not cleaned. Could do with a few more glasses, 2 tumblers, 2 wine glasses ? Also first time not to have a small welcome present; wine or just milk/bread, home made cake/biscuits etc. Once we got over the shortcomings we enjoyed the apartment. Apart from above very clean with comfortable sofas and bed and plenty of space. Wouldn’t stay there again but location is excellent so might recommend to someone who planned to stay in Grassington.
