Situated on the edge of the conservation village of Killin, within Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park, the location couldn’t be better for relaxing, unwinding and leaving the stresses of everyday life behind. There is an abundance of wildlife to be seen from your cottage including red squirrels, wild birds and red deer. Curl up with a book for a lazy afternoon in the cosy living room, or on warmer days, open the French doors and sit on the patio enjoying great views over the Perthshire countryside. The well equipped kitchen has everything you need to prepare that special meal, but if you prefer a break from the kitchen then the local restaurant is only a 5-minute walk away.

Leave the car behind as there is an abundance of walks on the doorstep along the riverside and within the surrounding countryside and hills, and the spectacular Falls of Dochart. Killin plays host to several events throughout the year including a music festival, Highland games and a fireworks display at Hogmanay, and the village has a good selection of bars, restaurants, cafés and shops. The adjacent River Lochay and River Dochart, joining the nearby Loch Tay, are perfect for a spot of trout or salmon fishing, and boats, equipment and gillies can be hired and lessons available locally. With castles, historic monuments, whisky distilleries and a Highland Safari, there is something for everyone. Shop 800 yards, pub and restaurant 200 yards.
