Willow Cottage - Central Ely

Willow Cottage is a charming two bedroomed detached cottage situated in the centre of the historic Cathedral City of Ely. It is located just a few minutes walk from all the local attractions including the Cathedral, Bishops Palace and Oliver Cromwell's House. There are many great pubs, restaurants and shops all just a short stroll from the cottage. The cottage is finished to a high standard and has the luxury of a dishwasher and washing machine.
Ely railway station is also within easy walking distance providing regular services to Cambridge (20 minutes) and London (75 minutes). The horse racing town of Newmarket is just a short 25 minute drive. There are several National Trust sites within easy reach by car.

Furnished to a high standard the accommodation comprises: Spacious dining room with seating for four. Well equipped kitchen with oven, induction hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. Sitting room with beamed ceiling and original fireplace. Two bedrooms, one with double bed and one with zip and link beds which can be set as two small singles or one king size (please advise of preference at time of booking). Shower room with walk in shower, toilet and wash basin. Off road private parking for two small or one large car. Courtyard garden with furniture.

To make your stay as easy as possible we also provide complimentary tea and coffee, dishwasher tablets, washing up liquid and basic cleaning products, so all you have to do is turn up!

There is no Electric Vehicle charger fitted at the cottage, and our insurance does not allow electric car charging from standard sockets. Guests are advised that charging points are available at Newnham Street Car Park (100 yards away) or at both Sainsbury's and Tesco. Fast charging points are currently being installed at the BP garage on the A142 just outside Ely. These are due to be open in July 2024.

Covid-19 - we would like to reassure guests that the cottage is thoroughly cleaned following every stay. We also provide alcohol hand gel and cleaning products for your peace of mind and complimentary dishwashing tablets so you can clean any dishes or cookware before use if you wish.
