Had a very warm welcome on Monday evening. Had the most enjoyable relaxing 4 days away for my partner’s 50th birthday. Owner had thought of everything including a parking disc for when we ventured out. Went to see family in the lakes on one day which broke up the journey if we travelled from our home. Thank you

Bishopdale has lovely open views & is conveniently situated for many of The Dales attractions. Mystified Bungalow is warm & cosy with two televisions for inclement weather & outside dining on the barbecue when it's warm. We have already recommended this property to friends

A Lovely cottage, very clean and in a beautiful quiet location. The Cottage was easy to find and we were met by the owner on arrival. Every room is decorated to an individual style and everything you need is provided (even ice cubes in the freezer). We had a hectic weekend so it was great to return each evening and relax with a large V&T! Plenty of wild birds to observe including woodpeckers. The location is ideal with several pubs nearby. Would we stay here agin - yes we would.

You couldn't ask for more from a holiday let.

You couldn't ask for more from a holiday let. Friendly welcome from the owner, and such a comfortable place, we felt at home almost instantly. Best aspect is the little patio garden, with beautiful views and just the sound of birds, sheep and cows. So many birds visit to feed you could watch them all day and almost forget to go sightseeing! Was great to be visited by a family of pheasants on the patio most days. Easy to find with ample parking too. I would definitely go back and stay at Mystified Bungalow again.

The computer site of Mystified Bungalow apparently gives the wrong location of the cottage: not about 100 meters away from the main road, on the other site of it and uphill (as suggested), but directly adjacent to it. I had to sleep with earplugs. For older people (like us) there were no comfortable chairs on the terrass as suggested by the pictures (see also above). Therefore we bought ourselves a decent one.

Lovely bungalow with fantastic views across the hills.

Lovely bungalow with fantastic views across the hills. Great welcome from the owners with wine, cheese & milk in the fridge. Also a generously filled fruit bowl. The kitchen was stocked with every appliance you could possibly need. The owners were extremely friendly and available if we needed any information without encroaching on our privacy. The bungalow has been well thought out and has a lovely homely feel to it. There is also an enclosed garden for the dog.

Absolutely fabulous, you could not beat it if you tried. Our hosts were the most charming of people and were a delight. and then there was the Yorkshire Dales and if there was heaven on earth then this was it. We met many of the local people and were accepted as long lost friends. If only everybody were like this then we would live in a much happier world. Thank you.
