We loved the house! It’s a beautiful house in a really cute village. We had warm welcome from Nicole. We only stayed for 2 nights, but will be back for a longer stay!

What a lovely house!

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stayed in this house that has been carefully updated to provide a comfortable stay while retaining all the charm of it's age and beauty. Nicole was a superb host taking time to share information about the area and provided excellent recommendations on local activities for us to pursue..

Beautiful Vintage in Alsace.

Simply splendid gite in the most wonderful vintage style, with plenty of space and gloriously adorned with myriads of vintage items in every room. Beautifully clean and well cared for, everything about this lovely cottage was just perfect. The gardens on various levels and having many twists and turns, were full of beautiful flowering plants and shrubs , as well as many varieties of roses. Nicole Hornecker and her husband were only too pleased to help and give advice when needed and we really enjoyed being invited out to social gatherings at a twinning association party and to dinner one evening at the Nicole's beautiful house. They brought us fruit to enjoy and encouraged us to pick lovely flowers from the garden. We would certainly book this gite again when visiting the Alsace region.

Venons de passer quelques jours dans la maison pain d'épices du 27/05 au 1/06 et avons été comblé , Nicole notre hôte est très accueillante et de bons conseils ,la maison est top niveau décoration pleine de petites touches qui en font un endroit ou on se sent bien et en sérénité , mais le point le plus a voir et profiter (surtout dans ces périodes de l'année ) est le jardin ....là c'est carrément un enchantement c'est une merveille nous qui aimions les jardins anglais nous avons été comblés c'est une multitude de rosiers et autres placés intelligemment c'est juste magique ...la maison est parfaitement située proche l'autoroute en venant de l'A4 , Saverne est à 7km pour les petites courses et autres , la route des vins est proche pour visiter les jolis villages alsaciens , Strasbourg pas très loin non plus , nous avons trouvé notre séjour très positif en tout point , à refaire (même à une autre période car l'hiver doit être quelque chose aussi niveau deco intérieur ) ...Merci à Nicole pour ce génial séjour .Eric

Sehr schön gelegenes Ferienhaus in einem idyllischen Garten. Wir haben viel in der Umgebung unternommen und sind nun begeisterte Elsass Fans. Nadine war sehr nett und hilfsbereit! Im Haus war alles vorhanden was man für das Leben benötigt. Wir haben uns sehr sehr wohl gefühlt und würden jeder Zeit wieder kommen.

Das hübsche Haus von Nicole ist wirklich bezaubernd. Man kommt an und fühlt sich direkt wohl und wie zu Hause. Alles ist mit Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Der Garten hat seinen eigenen Charme und, vor allem im Sommer blühen die Rosen und Hortensien sehr schön.Die ländliche Lage ist entspannend. Allerdings kam es aufgrund einer kurzzeitigen Umleitung zu erhöhtem Verkehr; außerdem war gerade Erntezeit.In Furchhausen gibt es Obst/ Gemüse direkt vom Bauern (Automat 24/7!) und in den nächsten Orten findet sich auch mind. ein Bäcker bzw. ein Gasthof mit leckerem Flammkuchen.Die Vermieterin Nicole ist eine echte, französische "Landlady" und die Kommunikation mit ihr war immer sehr freundlich und hilfreich.Allen, die es ruhig und besonders gemütlich mögen, wird es in Nicoles "Lebkuchenhaus" sehr gut gefallen!

Ein Haus voller Überraschungen

liebevoll eingerichtetes Haus mit herrlichem Garten zum Wohlfühlen. Alles da, was man für einen Urlaub braucht. Es hat an nicht's gefehlt. Leider konnten wir auf Grund der hohen Temperaturen das Haus nicht wirklich genießen. Dafür haben wir es uns im Garten gut gehen lassen. Zu jeder Tageszeit bietet der Garten einen Schattenplatz. Die Vermieter sind sehr gastfreundlich und sind stets darauf bedacht, dass man sich wohlfühlt. Ganz lieben Dank noch einmal an dieser Stelle. Wir hatten eine schöne Zeit.

Osterwochenende im Elsass

Séjour cosy et féérique

Nous avons passé un séjour incroyable dans le joli cottage de Nicole avec nos deux filles (3 ans et 7 mois) !La maison est adorable et soigneusement décorée, parfaite pour la période de Noël. On s'y est sentis très bien !La propriétaire au grand cœur a été aux petits soins pour nous faire vivre un séjour unique et inoubliable dans sa région. Nous avons été très touchés de toutes les petites attentions à notre égard.Et la région est tout simplement féérique à cette période, mais aucun doute qu'elle présente également de beaux atouts au printemps et à l'automne !

Herzliches Ferienhaus

Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen. Das Haus ist stilvoll renoviert und detailreich eingerichtet. Wir haben hier eine erholsame Woche mit der Familie verbracht. Der Garten lädt zum Ausruhen ein, Im Haus gibt es schöne Plätze zum Essen, Spielen, Lesen, Ausruhen. In der Umgebung gibt es viele Ausflugsziele und Wandermöglichkeiten in den Vogesen.

Ein wunderschönes Ferienhaus zum wohlfühlen. Herzliche Vermieterin mit vielen Tipps zum Erkunden der Gegend. Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. In der Umgebung kann man schöne Ausflüge machen. (Wandern in den Vogesen, Burgen besichtigen, Städte erkunden)

Der Text ist bereits gut formuliert, ich habe jedoch ein paar kleine Anpassungen vorgenommen, um die Rechtschreibung und den Stil zu verbessern: Haben hier 3Nächte auf der Durchreise verbracht. Super Kommunikation und sehr sympathische Gastgeber. Das Häuschen ist ein Kleinod zwischen ausstaffiertem Heimatmuseum und Geheimtipp im Hochglanzjournal. Wir haben hier sehr gut geschlafen und dem traumhaften Straßburg einen Besuch abgestattet. Vive l'Europe und vielen Dank, Nicole.
