Villa Pelican is beautiful and in an ideal location, close to the airport, supermarket and boulengerie. The villa is well appointed, the kitchen is very modern and functional, the living room is comfortable, the dining table comfortably seats 8 people, and the bedrooms are spacious and comfortable with king size beds. The only thing we would have liked is a door on the bathrooms for privacy. Even if you’re staying with a partner or spouse, it would be nice to have privacy when using the toilet. Everything else about the villa was perfect.

Great stay and views

Really enjoyed our time there and the views were spectacular. The main house is not air conditioned which means we were in and out of the pool a lot. Great trip and house.

Superb villa

We loved Villa Pelican. Great location, amazing views, awesome looking furnishings and pool area; also the best welcome we have ever had at a rental property. Clement was super helpful and fun, and we loved the welcome snacks and drinks — it’s great to not have to go to the store first thing. Owners were also responsive and great, and the home was kept clean and neat every day. Great rental experience. We went in June and there were some mosquitos but that was a small nuisance. We didn’t want to leave!

Great family or friends getaway

The house was perfect; great view, huge patio, 4 large bedrooms with own bath, and a large kitchen/common room. The Infiniti pool is the perfect size to cool down in. We had six adults but the house is larger then expected and can easily handle 8 adults. The house is well located and within 10 min drive of groceries, restaurants and Gustavia harbor. The property manager arranged for pick up at the docks and coordinated any of our other needs so very helpful. We had a trip of a lifetime and fully enjoyed the home.

Heaven on Earth

We had a fantastic stay - Suzanne greeted us at the airport and Clement attended to every detail throughout our stay. The villa is magnificent and well kept; perfectly clean and modern. While we did not cook anything elaborate, the kitchen is very well suited to that. Each room was equal in size and amenities. The view is incredibly morning, noon, and night. It is a quiet neighborhood full of friendly neighbors - we were so well taken care of that the return to life is quite a shock. I look forward to returning to Villa Pelican.

Anse des Lézards Beautiful Views

As a family of five with a 16 year old teen, and 2 twenty somethings, my husband and I rented the villa to celebrate a special anniversary. Upon arrival we were greeted by Clement who accompanied us to the villa and helped us with our baggage. When we arrived, we were stunned by the beautiful infinity pool against the gorgeous ocean. The villa had 4 beautiful bedrooms and baths, each room the same size, 2 up and 2 down. The bedrooms had nice air conditioning to sleep comfortably. The open space with sliders converted to open air dining and living. We especially loved the massive sofa outdoors where we enjoyed star gazing at night together. While there, Clement was on call and responsive within minutes to questions and texts. Upon departure he greeted us to say goodbye. There is nothing not to love about this villa and St Barts.We will surely return. Thank you to Clement and the owners of the villa for their attention to detail. It was a memorable and lovely stay!

Beautiful villa but infested with rats!!

Vila Pelican is absolutely beautiful. The concierge was great and responsive. The problem is it’s infested with RATS. These rats were so bold that they came out while we were enjoying time in the kitchen. At one point those of us who were brave enough to not run out actually recorded them running on the counter and refrigerator while the lights were on. We complained to the owner and she blamed the scent of our chef's cooking and food being left out for the infestation. We had the normal bread and potatoes, nothing special on the counter. Her maid can attest to that statement. After seeing the rodent droppings on the counter, refrigerator and table and knowing they may carry rodent-borne diseases we ceased enjoying the kitchen and living room. The owner also blamed the rat problem on us leaving the doors open and sent an exterminator the next morning. There is no air conditioning in the living room, the beauty is of the openness yet we closed it up out of fear of rats running in. That was in vain, as her exterminator showed they were entering from a hole in the island under the kitchen sink. We closed the doors and ate elsewhere- we were disgusted. The next morning we awoke to 3 dead rats in 3 new traps put out by the exterminator as well as one dead mouse a friend killed which came out while he was in the half bath. The electricity went out 3 times despite an electrician visiting. It was a terrible experience. We rented a total of 3 villas as it was my girlfriends birthday and none of the other two had rodent problems. Lastly, it says events allowed and we threw a birthday party the second night where the first rat made its appearance. This was even before the chef arrived and any cooking took place. By 8pm the neighbors were complaining about music, and we were given a 10pm noise restriction which we observed.

As I told Peggy when she alerted me about the issue, we never, ever had a problem like this before her arrival or after her departure . Villa Pelican is situated on the hillside of Anse des Lezards surrounded with with greenland and trees, of course there are animals, its nature . But it is the very improper way that Villa Pelican was used by Peggy and her many guests that the rodents were attracted into the house . Their Chef was cooking every day for over 20 peolpe breakfast, lunch and dinner, and the food was left all day and especially all night on the kitchen counter with the doors open all night , and the trash bags were left all night in garden, instead of bringing them into the trash barrel right down on the road. Of course the smell amplified with the heat and attract all kind of animals, especially at night . We have called a " exterminator " during Peggy stay who set out traps .

Perfect Week

I highly recommend Pelican Villa- Stayed with my husband and 2 other couples and the villa was perfect for our group. The view was spectacular and the proximity to both Gustavia and St Jean couldn’t be better. Clement stocked the essentials for us, which was a welcomed surprise and was available and quick to respond to all questions/needs. The villa is even more beautiful than the photos. Would not change a thing except to stay longer!!! Will be back for sure.

Slice of Paradise

This was our first time in Saint Barts. Villa Pelican was the perfect choice. The space was accommodating and the view was mesmerizing. The location was within a few minutes drive of most points of interest. Communication was seamless.

Another Amazing stay at Villa Pelican

This was our second time at the property and it’s as lovely as we remember it . Clemente and Romain provided excellent service throughout and owner Susanne is incredibly accommodating helping us with some last minute questions as we brought our infant baby. We love the property and peaceful view with open indoor/outdoor living concept. We look forward to many happy returns.

What an amazing view!

We loved the Villa Pelican. The setting overlooking the ocean is amazing. The kitchen is well equipped and the whole property is very well maintained. The concierge, Clément, was extremely helpful, responsive and super friendly. We can’t wait to return!

Family Vacation

We arrived at the airport with Clément waiting for us. He couldn’t have been any more helpful and accommodating the entire time. The Villa is absolutely amazing and the view is surreal. We couldn’t have been happier with our choice on where to stay. It was perfect.

Amazing!

First let me begin by saying that the pictures do not do it justice. The views take your breath away. Susanne was wonderful, she helped us get everything we needed. the cleaning staff kept so clean and neat. It is perfect for four couples. I only wish all the the houses I have rented were this perfect. I have rented over 10 properties through VRBO I only wish they were all this great.

La villa est magnifique et sa localisation parfaite, proche des plage ,des commerces de Gustavia, et avec une belle sérénité. L énergie qui se dégage de ce lieu est apaisante et revitalisante. Spectacular Villa

We loved everything about our stay at this gorgeous new home. It is private, beautifully designed and decorated, comfortable, and well-stocked with a stunning location overlooking the sea. There are two bedrooms on the lower level and two on the main level, and the main living area is separated from the bedrooms by a screen-covered deck, so the layout and landscaping provide great privacy. The pool and terraces are perfect. Susanne and Regis are wonderful, lovely hosts who respond promptly to all questions and hire excellent staff. The location is super-convenient. We highly recommend this property!

Paradise!

We loved our stay at Villa Pelican. The hosts were helpful in every way - met us at the airport to help with luggage, provided restaurant recommendations, helped book our rental car, and assisted with taxi rides. The house is absolutely incredible! The view is unreal and so private, the pool was our favorite spot - perfect size and temperature. (Our group of 8 could easily relax in the pool.) We frequently cooked meals in the well equipped kitchen, played cards in the large dining and living rooms, and the bedrooms were very comfortable. I highly recommend staying here, and would love to come back again!!!

Amazing house, amazing vacation.

We are heavy users of VRBO for our family vacations, and this one was amazing! From initial communication, to the home, to Susanne bringing us beach chairs, to the amazing house cleaner...I would give 6 stars if I could. Susanne is the best, and the house is amazing. If we ever come back, we will be staying at this house again.
