We enjoyed staying at the treehouse. Very close to main towns, grocery and Lorne beach but quiet. the house had a cosy cottage feel. Nice views every morning with cockatoos right there. House was clean and equiped with what we needed for our stay. The host was excellent with communication and instructions.

Thank you for coming to stay and for looking after the house. It has been a pleasure to have you as a guest, please return again when you come back this way. All the best Diarmuid.
We had a wonderful time enjoying the bush, the beach, the birds and the view.
You are safely away from the busy part of town but walking distance.
The bird life and views of bush and ocean cannot be overstated.
The house, fixtures and fittings are modest - we didn’t mind - we don’t go for glitz.
The house is on a very steep block - hence the views and the treehouse name - you are in the top of trees. The driveway therefore is a steep incline and mainly for all wheel vehicles - my mother-in law had to be driven up and down as it was too steep for her to walk so do factor that into your plans.
The owner is very friendly and keen to offer advice and assistance.
Bad points : you will not get a car for an all wheel drive up the driveway. And even a four-wheel-drive struggled. This was in winter. When things were, I guess damp and littered with leaves. In summer, you have no problem. We had to pull our luggage all the way to the top. However, aside that beautiful little treehouse, not perfect, but amongst the trees and with wildlife. Brilliant host. Five minutes from main strip. Homely with everything you need and owner allowed our dogs, which is always a winner. Would I stay here again, absolutely! Thank you for a great stay. We will be back at minimum to see the gorgeous birds that visit the balcony twice a day.
Awesome property, great location. Driveway is steep, but if you approach from the left side it's much easier. Might be difficult if there are several cars though. Would definitely recommend for larger groups, heaps of space. Just a tad big for a couple, but still lovely.
Ventured to Lorne in early winter
Had lovely days with beautiful walks but with cold nights
Definitely appreciated the ample wood supply and the soothing open fire
Treetops is a Big home with fantastic forest and ocean views
Saw lovely birds and a few kangas in the back yard
Drive way was steep and as we had rain, we parked down the bottom
Lovely relaxing time. Such a blessing
We had a wonderful stay at this simple more traditional holiday home nestled in the trees up on the hill. Very relaxing with wonderful views and exceptional bird life. The house is spacious and tasteful with indoor and outdoor areas to enjoy the views of the trees and ocean. There is something quite special about this gem in trees.

This property was very suitable for a quiet getaway.
Very close to shops and restaurants, beach and fabulous walks. We had koalas and kangaroos on our doorstep and frequent bird visitors.
Beautiful location on the edge of the forest, and just a short walk into shops. We enjoyed a bunch of beautiful nature walks. Thankyou for having us to stay :)
Thank you for looking after the house and please return some day.

Deceptively close to everything ( on foot). Really comfortable house with great aspect to the sea,
Good property honestly marketed. Really lovely spot for the family, and well equipped house in a lovely setting with ocean views. Linen provided on all beds a rare bonus. Lovely polished floor and a soft new carpet in the bedrooms. ( Tip: it’s much easier & seems safer to reverse into the driveway. )
