Il meglio di entrambi i mondi - relax, bird-watching, kayak, e la pesca, o godersi il fiume e tutto ciò che ha da offrire. Con il proprio Billabong, Ponte pedonale al fronte fiume con rampa barca e la propria spiaggia privata.

Our family had a great little getaway at this amazing property. The place was spotless clean and had everything we could have needed. We loved fishing and exploring during the day, the kids and dogs had plenty of space to run around and the wood fire heater kept us warm of an evening. Absolute bliss.We will definitely recommend this place and hope to be back sometime soon!Shirley and Dave we thank you for sharing your piece of paradise.

Spacious and beautiful location Quiet with easy access to the water situated on a lagoon which is safer than the riverfront Expansive grassed area beautifully mowed and presented Slow combustion heater great for winter ( wood supplies) Excellent living space with comfortable lounges House well set up for larger groups with crockery, cutlery, cooking pans and a large dining area. Beds comfortableSecond lounge area great for the children to retreat to. Plenty of hot water and good toileting facilities Take food, clothes and sheets/sleeping bags you wont need anything else

We stayed at the property with 14 people and had the most amazing time. We stayed for a week and all of us didn’t want to leave it is the most beautiful amazing spot I’ve ever been to.We had family from Airle Beach QLD stay and they were in love with the place if that’s an indication of who wonderful the place is.Also the people in the house boats let me and my son on a boat to catch his first fish he was hooked after that. The owners are absolutely wonderful people they couldn’t have done more for us as far as communication was concerned

Great place for family gathering

This was a great place for all our families to meet and celebrate a big milestone. Everything we needed in a beautiful location. Shirley was an amazing host. We will definitely look to stay here again.

Pompoota Homestead was absolutely amazing. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you could possibly need, making it so easy to settle in and feel at home. The grounds are beautiful, and the riverfront with its sandy beach is simply stunning such a peaceful and relaxing place to spend time.Shirley was a wonderful host, very responsive and helpful with all of my questions, and the check-in process was effortless.We all enjoyed our stay so much and would highly recommend Pompoota Homestead. We can’t wait to come back!

What a fantastic property! We absolutely loved everything about it and it made for an excellent weekend. The homestead surprised us with the amount of space to cater for a large group. The wood heater was magnificent. The Kitchen had everything we needed. The outdoor setting, bar table, bbqs, and firepit made for a very relaxing time with peaceful views over the billabong. Shirley, thankyou for allowing to use this magnificent property. We’ll be back for sure.

Right from the beginning, the host was incredibly responsive. The house itself was so well stocked and well organized. I think it’s the cleanest house we’ve ever stayed in. The amenities were amazing. The living areas were large and roomy. The outside was immaculately kept. The views of the river was stunning. We highly recommend this property and will definitely be returning.

Outstanding Property!

Gorgeous location, quiet and relaxing. We had our small wedding here with very close friends and family. It was absolutely perfect. Clean, tidy, everything was perfect. A credit to the wonderful owners on an amazing property! Hope to be back yearly for our anniversary!!

The beautiful location & homestead which was thoughtfully appointed. Generous quantity of crockery, cutlery, cookware etc in excellent condition. Nothing stingy here. There’s just so much on offer. Grandkids were exhausted after each fun packed day, as were adults. The host was very welcoming. Really the perfect family holiday. Congratulations Shirley & David.

Family weekend and birthdays celebration

Fantastic weekend staying at Pompoota Homestead - the house is so comfortable and makes it easy to have a large crowd. Loads of space for people to spread out and gorgeous setting with green lawns, big trees, easy access to the river, private yet open, and beautiful views over the lagoon and river. Thank you once again for the memories we were able to create together at this awesome venue!

Family bi-annual get together

Lovely house to be in. Suitable for all ages. We have previously used houseboats but now too many for 1 boat so tried your home and all agreed it was excellent. We have been doing this for 24 years so it was a big change. So close to Monato so very happy. Thank you, we will be back

A week at Pompoota

Top notch, the property has been lovingly restored and in perfect condition for a large group or several families. We even managed to rid the billabong of a few nasty big carp but heavy fishing tackle is required due to the size and weight of the horrors. In earlier times we would have used the boat ramp and had a ski but there is now more runway behind us than in front! thanks Peter and Di.

immaculate property, perfect for large groups

Pompoota exceeded all expectations, and was even more perfect than we imagined. Immaculately clean, truly a home away from home. Solid, spacious, well air-conditioned in hot weather, beautiful lawns and shaded areas, everything we could possibly require in kitchen for meal prep, an extra fridge and freezer made catering for extended stays easy. We adored the very private location, a true getaway. We holidayed in summer but think it would be just as wonderful to hide away in winter. If you value privacy and comfort, Pompoota is for you. Shirley was a perfect host, with all communication promptly answered.

This property was well presented to us when we arrived , It’s had ample amount of space to accommodate us .Very well finished. We had no issues. The host was very polite and approachable for any queries. The location is very quiet and beautiful, picturesque. A weekend for us to keep the memories forever.
