Enjoyed our stay

Friends from Sunshine Coast and Rockhampton meeting in the middle for a catch up. Had a lovely, relaxing stay enjoying the ocean view and a walk to the beach. This home had everything we needed.

Lovely home, nice big bedrooms and lots of open space. Absolutely beautiful indoor/outdoor living area with lovely open bifold doors. Basic kitchen. Nice enclosed yard. A little bit of a drive from main shops, but lovely quiet area.

Great location with beautiful views

We loved our stay, came away feeling very relaxed and refreshed. The view of the ocean from the house is wonderful and we enjoyed relaxing to the sound of the waves. The location is great with the park at the back gate and close proximity to the secluded beach and walking tracks. The house is very comfortable and in a peaceful and quiet area. The fresh flowers were also very much appreciated. We had our two small dogs with us and the garden was beautiful and totally secure for them.

Bagarra Beach hideaway review

We had a 4 night stay here whilst we enjoyed our stay we were somewhat disappointed with the standard of accommodation as we didn’t feel it was worth the money that we had to pay which was nearly $500 a night - we had to pay additional money as there were 4 of us and the price quoted in the website was only for 2 people. We didn’t think it lived up to the expectation we had formed from the advertisement. The property was a bit old and tired with some worn out furniture both inside and out, one of the outdoor chairs was broken and some outdoor furniture a bit rusty. We were told not to open the lovely bifold doors which was a bit disappointing. Garage was inaccessible as it was fulll of furniture. Ants and mosquitoes were a problem . For the price there should be Wi-Fi. On the plus side property is quite spacious has a large back yard and backs into lovely parkland leading to coastal walks. House is a fair way out of Bagarra in Innes Park which is a 15 minute drive.

Bargara beach hideaway

Our family stayed at Bargara beach hideaway for a week. The house was clean and tidy and very comfortable. I wondered how hot is would be without aircon but the bifold doors were good. It was handy being able to walk to the small beach and creek. The younger kids enjoyed swimming and fishing there. You do need to drive to get to the main part of Bargara and any cafes/coffee but it is only a few minutes drive.

Bargara beach hideaway

Had a lovely week away at this property. House was extremely clean on arrival and had a beautiful outlook to the backyard with stunning gardens. Would definitely come again! Our dogs loved the daily beach trips! The only downfall would be that we weren’t given access to the double garage and therefore couldn’t lock away our small boat. Thanks

Abbey and her partner and 2 dogs left the house in imaculate condition. The owner couldn't even tell they had been there. Sorry about the boat, but It probably wouldn't have fit. No room! Please come again Abbey.

Very comfortable house. Well equipped kitchen. Fantastic breezes in this hot weather. The huge sector of the house does leave a dilemma at night. Although the area feels very safe, there is no through-breeze if they are closed. The air-conditioner did not work.

I'm sorry you the found the house a bit hot at night, it is advertised as no air-conditioning and the bi-fold doors do have windows that can be opened at night with the doors still locked.

Charming house, very restful

We really enjoyed our 3 night stay. Very much appreciated the little extras such as fresh native floral arrangements. Lovely rooms and very spacious. Lovely to sit in the evening watching the sea after busy days sightseeing.

Beautiful views

Beautiful house with a gorgeous view. Nice quiet street. The house could do with some ceiling fans or aircon in the main living area as the sea breeze wasn't always blowing through the lovely bifold doors. Also the house could of been cleaned a little better but other than those minor issues we would definitely stay again :)
