Hazards View Retreat

Hazards View residence is a new and modern, self contained holiday retreat located on the hill in the beautiful Swanwick area of Coles Bay.

The house has a spacious, light and airy open plan kitchen/dining area, lounge room with soaring cathedral ceiling and family room with a flat screen TV and DVD/CD player. There are sliding doors that open out to a large sunny deck that enjoys expansive views of the green hilly countryside and the famous Hazard Mountains.

There is also another very cosy deck facing the backyard which contains the BBQ and outdoor furniture.There is long hallway connecting the three bedrooms. Two bedrooms have queen size beds and one bedroom has a bunk bed only suitable for children and a separate single bed. There are two toilets, one of which is in the large and bright bathroom which also includes the laundry.


Facilities

Off street parking, gas BBQ and outdoor setting on the deck, fully equipped kitchen, high chair, books and magazines, TV, CD/DVD player, baby cot, bedding supplied, boat ramp nearby.

Please bring your own linen and towels or linen and bath towels can be provided for an additional fee.
Pets are not permitted upon the property.

Activities

When staying at this property you can enjoy a great number of activities. You can discover Sandpiper Beach which is behind the hill and within a short walking distance from the house. Close to the beach are grass covered sand dunes, beautifully sculptured rocks and mountain views on the horizon.
During the evenings you can sit on the front deck, enjoy amazing sunsets and listen to the waves from behind the hill.

If you are an enthusiastic golf player, nearby is a beautifully maintained scenic Golf course.

A short drive will take you to the prominent Freycinet National Park where you will experience places that you will never forget. You will be able to appreciate and enjoy the local wildlife, rugged mountains, breathtaking beaches and some of the most spectacular coastal scenery in Australia. This is a unique and precious spot with stunning natural surroundings. Freycinet National Park is a place of true beauty, a quintessential Tasmanian landscape.

Possible activities include bushwalking, climbing, snorkling, diving and fishing.

You can also take one of the many cruises and tours organised by All4adventure, Aqua Taxi, Freycinet Sea Cruises, Freycinet Adventures, Freycinet Air, or Freycinet in a Day-cruise into Wineglass Bay.

I loved this house, it was a home away from home. Great location overlooking Hazard Mountains. The home was clean and the beds comfortable. The area is close to Freycinet National Park, which is an amazing national park.

Holiday at Coles Bay

With my son from Perth and his family we enjoyed all the nearby beauty and interest Freycinet has to offer. The accommodation was very comfortable and convenient. The nearby beach we walked to each evening was lovely and quite close.

A Perfect Home Away from Home

We absolutely loved our stay at this fantastic property! From the moment we arrived, it was clear the hosts have gone above and beyond to create a welcoming and comfortable space. Comf Hazard Retreat

Communication with the host pre-arrival was good and lock box gave easy entry. There was an initial power problem in the property but this was swiftly addressed. The property is spacious and comfortable, very clean and has all the amenities required. Close to Coles Bay and stores, tavern, coffee shop etc. and to Frecinyet National Park.

Excellent stay.

The house was clean, comfortable and well equipped. 2 toilets was a bonus. WiFi was great. Owner was responsive to questions. Location was excellent for Freycinet / Wineglass Bay area.

Excellent, comfortable and spacious

A very nice place to stay. The extra lounge space was terrific, as was the second toilet and the spacious decks. With 4 adults and an 11yr old, we all had plenty of room. It was also modern and very clean.

Exceeded all expectations!

Beautiful clean and spacious property, perfect set up for a large family, very well equipped, very friendly and supportive landlord, who even set up a little Christmas tree for us. Highly recommendable and a holiday home with returning to!

Very convince to Freycinet National Park activities

Jedrek was very professional, friendly and responsive to my inquiry at all times and provided me some information of places to visits/hiking. Beautiful sunrise/sunset over looking the front veranda. Very close to Wineglass Bay, Mt Amos, Cape Tourville Lighthouse and other walking tracks through Freycinet NP. The home is very comfortable and are very tidy. This place will be very convenient for groups stay as it has plenty of rooms to accommodate 6 guests. Has three bedrooms in total with a separate toilets and bathroom/showers with toilets and laundry. Has a full kitchen and two living rooms and It is walking distance to the beach over the sand dune. Notes. Brings your supplies if you staying more than a few days as shop in coles bay is a bit pricey. Example your milk, bread, drinks, really anything you may think you would need. Spacious Property

Lots of room, very well equipped kitchen/laundry/bathroom. Comfortable large lounge room, having two toilets was a real plus. BBQ excellent. Situated in a new housing development but only short drive to all Coles Bay tourist attractions including Wineglass Bay walks and beaches. Great view of The Hazards from the front deck.

Spacious and modern house

Very spacious house with lots of living areas inside and out. Located away from the tourist area in a newish subdivision yet everything is within driving distance. The power room is great for a larger group.

Quiet, comfortable, well equipped.

This house is the perfect distance from town to avoid the business of the holiday period but close enough to still enjoy all of the conveniences and attractions. It is homely, comfortable and has everything you need.

Beautiful place, very homely!

Excellent property

The house was clean and comfortably furnished. Kitchen well equipped and bathroom spacious. Communication with the owner was easy and pleasant. We had a very relaxing stay - it was the perfect base to explore the Freycinet peninsula. We would definitely revisit.

Great base for exploring the area

We had ample space for our extended family and kids. Very comfy, and cosy on the cooler nights. Neatly and tidily presented. Location very handy, with only a few minutes drive to the oyster shed and a short walk to the beach. Enjoyed ourselves very much!

Excellent house, great base for exploring

We stayed here for two nights in February and were very happy with the whole experience. It's a new house, spacious, very clean, nicely furnished, and comfortably slept our group of seven. The owner was very helpful and patient during payment and check-in difficulties of our own making. The location is about 6 km from Coles Bay so a good base for day trips to Freycinet NP, and it's within walking distance of the local beach-- 10-15 minutes. We would definitely stay here again.

Fabulous Modern Property

We were blown away when we walked into the place. So beautiful & modern & had everything we needed. The view of the Hazards was lovely to wake up too. Great location for Wineglass Bay & Freycinet National Park. Highly recommend a stay here as was peaceful & a real retreat.
