Hi Amanda, thank you for taking the time to provide us with feedback on your recent stay. Starting with your comments in relation to bedding and towels - as per our website and various texts/emails, we do make it very clear that we do not provide bed linen or towels, however, both can be arranged for an additional charge if guests require. Over the years we have found that the overwhelming majority of guests prefer to bring their own bed sheets and towels hence we make it an optional extra and keep the rental costs lower. Regarding the house being filthy, kitchen cupboards being 'gross' and so on. I have spoken directly with the owner/manager of the cleaning company that we use and they will investigate what may have occurred here. We only engaged them fairly recently but based on the reviews since their appointment, all indications are that they have been cleaning the property to a most satisfactory standard. Your experience is obviously completely out of step with what others have reported so we will investigate and make changes if and where required. As per our pre-check in text message, we do ask guests to contact us immediately should anything regarding the property not to be to their satisfaction. If the house was not clean upon your arrival and you had let us know, I can assure you we would have cleaners sent to the house immediately to rectify any issues.
