Great Stay, Highly Recommended

Lovely house equipped with everything you need, was clean, comfortable, and in a great location. A very relaxing stay in a quiet and quaint neighbourhood in Port Julia. Nice sea views and the jetty was just a few minutes walk away. Margaret & David are great hosts and very accommodating. Thank you. We would definitely come back again.

Relaxing Stay

It was out 2nd stay and we had a very relaxing stay. House was clean with comfortable beds and air-conditioning on all rooms was a great addition. Complete kitchen and dining facilities. David and Margaret are great hosts. Will definitely book again and again. Thanks always for having us.

lovely accommodation

We love the place, stunning view from the kitchen and lounge area. Kitchen utensils are complete. So peaceful and quiet. We enjoyed the jetty and the beach, so clean and the water is clear and beautiful. It's hard to get a signal but who cares, it's meant to detach from the technology and social media world. We had a great time.

Peace and quiet

Spacious house with plenty of room for the whole family. Plenty of amenities for renter use. Quiet location, close to beach and boat ramp. Beautiful views from balcony. Short drive to shops and neighbouring towns. Hosts respond promptly to messages. A fabulous place to holiday. Thank you 😊

Great stay for older family

We loved our stay at David and Margaret's house. It was very clean and had everything we needed. We were able to stay comfortably with our older children and their partners. the town is lovely and we had a lovely weekend. The hosts were great at keeping in touch, and were flexible with our check in and out times. Thanks so much D&M.

Excellent relax holiday

We had such a excellent holiday there. I stayed 2 nights with my family and friend’s family - 4 adults and 3 kids. We all loved the stay. Sheets and towels were provided which helped us a lot. The house is very close to the jetty. It is less than 10 mins walk. Kids caught 2 squid! We loved the view from balcony. It was very quiet and comfortable. I totally recommend this house to stay!

WELL EQUIPPED

Very comfortable house with well equipped kitchen - ample tea towels and washing products. 4 very large bedrooms, all with standard bedding with the added bonus of all sheets and towels supplied - was great not having to pack sheets and towels for 5 people. 2 well appointed and large bathrooms - with toilet paper! ( unlike some places I've stayed ) Beautiful views out of the large rear windows. A very comfortable house and a great spot to travel up and down and across the peninsula for site seeing

The house is very homey and we felt very welcomed. I have been booking through Stayz for nearly 5 years already and this is the first time I have experienced true example of excellent hospitality. The host had anticipated everything we could have possibly needed. The proximity of the house to the beach is just perfect. We have enjoyed our quick getaway so much. We had nothing to complain about. Without a doubt that this is my favourite holiday in South Australia. Port Julia is such a wonderful town with a lot to offer and this accomodation is truly a gem. We really loved the atmosphere in this house. We felt safe and secure. Thank you very much. ‘Til next time!

Great break

Good position, very nice views two good sized tables to have food on one and playing cards and games on the other. Plenty of cutlery and plates and cups. The deck was great to relax on. Good time for everyone.

Close to Sea

Had a wonderful time with family . The beach and jetty are just 5 minute walk. Caught a good no.of big blue swimmers off the jetty. The house is large enough to fit guests comfortably and well equipped. Beautiful sea views. Thank you David(owner) for being so accommodating, we are sure to return in the near future.

We had a lovely stay at this property. The property is as advertised. We had family staying in the nearby caravan park, and this house was situated within easy walking distance. We used the nearby boat ramp to head out and throw in some crab pots. Great fun. The property itself is lovely and clean, with ocean views from the balcony. It has a well equipped kitchen, with plenty of plates, cutlery, etc. Heaps of seating for meal times. Showers and bathrooms were great, simple with plenty of room. I found the beds comfortable. Linen and towels were provided for us, which I make note of because there was some ambiguity on the website (and if you are like us this is an important thing to know). On the negative, there isn't a lot of lounge seating, but plenty of dining chairs to compensate. Do be aware that this is a two story property, and so there are stairs to navigate, but the view is worth it. The neighborhood is very quiet. I felt the stress just melt away... Well done David, and thankyou for making your property available.
