There were four adults and we had plenty of space. The large kitchen and outdoor areas were perfect for hanging out after exploring all day. Highly recommend!

Fantastic home

Great place to stay in Farmington

Traveled to Farmington for a work trip. This VRBO was a great place to stay, will definitely be back. Checkin process was easy, great communication with host, clean!

Enjoyed our stay

The property was just as described and the owners made our stay very comfortable. The homemade cookies at our arrival were a nice touch. Would highly recommend this property if staying in the area!

Absolutely amazing

This was an absolutely amazing place! House was beautiful and easy to feel like it was your "home". Great, quiet location and close to many things. Highly recommend. We would love to come back.

Perfection

Lovely, clean, good neighborhood, secluded but convenient, nice owners, beautiful setting, nice decor, comfortable beds with high quality linens. Everything was first rate, we'd give it 10 stars if we could. We are 5 ladies over the age of 60 who had a wonderful 3 night stay. We're looking for excuses to go back to Farmington so as to enjoy this property.

Beautiful Home!

To say this is a vacation rental property is to grossly mischaracterize the charm and comfort of the home. You feel like you've been invited into a best friend or family member's home and are so welcomed by the accommodations. Just perfect in every way. Highly recommend!

We had a fantastic stay at this home in Farmington, NM! The house itself was wonderful—comfortable, welcoming, and exceptionally clean. It truly felt more like staying at a friend or family member’s home rather than a typical rental.The location was great, and the property had everything we needed for a relaxing visit. We especially appreciated the thoughtful amenities like the grill, the dual coffee maker (drip and K-cups), and the comfortable furniture throughout. The linens were high quality, and the beds were incredibly comfortable—we slept so well!Booking, check-in, and departure were all seamless and easy. And the sunrise views from the property were absolutely amazing—such a peaceful way to start each day.We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. Highly recommended!

week riding sxs

This is the perfect place to stay for groups riding the Glade run area. We unloaded the RZR's and drove them to the gas station and to the Glade area every day. The house is great and plenty of room for multiple vehicles with trailers. We pulled in with a 34' trailer with no problems turning around and parking. The owners are super and full of knowledge on anything you want to do in the area. I would highly recommend this place. Perfect location for anything in town also.

Perfect house while playing in local golf tournament

I spent four nights in the home with a friend while participating in a local golf tournament. The house was spotless, quiet, well-stocked and super comfortable. We especially appreciated the comfortable beds and cleanliness of the house. The backyard deck was great for hanging out after a round of golf, and the home's locations was very convenient to everywhere we needed to go. The homeowner and property management company were also very responsive. If we play the Farmington tournament again next year we will certainly try to book this home.

A beautiful home, beautiful property, a little off the beaten path but easy to find. Antiques in beautiful curio cabinets made me feel like my grandmother had handwashed and polished each item, before gently arranging them for all to admire. I enjoyed sitting on the deck at sunset, Contronella candles or coils would make that time much more pleasant. Bugs abound outside, as it is a desert setting. Beds are comfortable, though I suggest a stepstool if you are vertically challenged (like me). The kitchen is very well appointed, far more baking dishes, pots and pans and storage containers than most VRBOs. Communication, for the most part was good, with the exception of some crossed wires regarding how many people could be on the property, (not spending the day or night, not for a party, but for a THANKSGIVING MEAL that would probably be the last I would ever share with my elderly sister and family that had travelled for this occasion. Suggestions that we change the location for lunch were simply not doable, as hundreds of dollars had gone into purchasing food for a home-cooked turkey meal. Other than that, there is nothing that I would rate less than excellent for this location. Thank you to the Penrods for sharing this beautiful home with my family.

We provide our guests with clean, quality beds, pillows, and linens for a comfortable and restful stay. Beds are the same height as in high-end hotels, and we will consider providing a step for guests.

Property was great. Being under surveillance the whole stay was not. There was a miscommunication with who could stay with us and we unintentionally went over the allowed number of guests- of which were small children under the age of 10. Instead of communicating with us, we were reported at 6:30 am and then harassed until part of the group left the property. We were also told to shut a gate the day before. Sorry, when I’m on vacation I don’t care to be watched. We left a day early because it was so uncomfortable.

Late check in

We visited Chinle And didn’t get to the house until 1030 at night. Check in or getting into the house was easy and a blessing. The house was a great house, great location and all in all very convenient for where we were in Farmington. The drive from Chinle Was very interesting that late at night. The pass over the mountains we saw deer cows pigs. Quite the adventure I’m glad we didn’t meet any of those on the road.

Nice quiet home. Listing should mention owners are on property in a home 50 yards behind this house. House is private and remodeled but still has a feel of some places we’re not quite finished. Hi Meredith, thank you for your review. We wanted to pass along the following feedback from the homeowners: We welcome feedback from our guests to improve their experience at our home. I am puzzled at your comment that it has a feeling that some places were not quite finished. The home has been fully remodeled inside and out, every room is furnished and decorated, and since it is located in the arid Southwest, the majority of landscaping is native shrubs and trees to conserve and limit water usage. We do live nearby and respect guest privacy while staying in our home. We do appreciate guests contacting us on any unforeseen issues or problems they may encounter at our home and not leaving any surprises for us to find.

Beautifully maintained home, with a very upscale feel

We enjoyed a very luxurious stay at this lovely home, using it as a base for excursions down to the Bisti Badlands and Chaco Canyon. It was a delight to come home after a day of hiking and exploring to such a warm and inviting place for hot showers, homemade dinners, and some relaxing TV. After visiting Chaco, it made perfect sense to pop over to the Aztec Ruins just a few miles away. Everything was sparkling clean and extremely well maintained. Designer touches throughout. The home is spacious and lovingly decorated. Truly can't say enough great things about it!

Very nice home

It is a very nice home. We were there for work. It was nice to come home to a home and not a hotel. It had BBQ outside fire pit everything you need in the kitchen. Nice rooms nice view and very quite and relaxing.
