Boronia Cottage Close to Greens Pool and the Bibbulmun and Munda Biddi Tracks.

Welcome to delightful Eaglemont Country Cottages in the heart of Denmark’s beautiful Karri country. 11 minute drive from township of Denmark, Eaglemont is ideally located just 1.4kms off the South Coast Highway. Set amongst Karri, Jarrah and Sheoak forest in fantastic bush walking country and a 7 minute drive to iconic Greens Pool, Elephant Rocks and Mad Fish Bay, well known for their sheltered swimming, snorkelling and fishing.

Our two charming cottages are comfortable and provide affordable, friendly accommodation. With high raked ceilings, they are light and airy and fully self-contained with two bedrooms, combined dining/lounge, kitchen, bathroom and a cosy wood fire (winter months only).

The Valley of the Giants and Tree Top Walk is less than 25 minutes away and the property is adjacent to the Nornalup Heritage Rail Trail and Munda Biddi Trail; and the Bibbulmun Track is nearby, both giving access to some of the most spectacular coastal scenery and a multi-use trail wonderful for walking, horse riding and cycling.

The house and cottage gardens feature extensive lawn areas surrounded by native bush and forest attracting a variety of birds to your doorstep. It is spectacular throughout spring, pleasantly shaded in summer and a delight in autumn not to mention snug wood fires in winter.

And when you are ready to go further afield, Eaglemont Country Cottages is central to some of Denmark’s best tourist attractions.

The property is actually on mains power so your comment may relate to the difficulty some telco providers have in servicing regional areas. This is improving however as providers work to increase their reach. The fabulous Karri trees can pose a problem for some signals depending on provider. We are however, delighted that this did not detract from your stay and that you and the family were able to enjoy the direct access to the Munda Biddi for cycling and jogging. Kind regards

The communication from Jan and Doug the day before we arrived was simple to follow, and we were blown away to arrive to a fresh loaf of bread, butter, eggs and fruit in the beautifully clean and fresh Boronia Cottage. Hosts were very concerned to make sure we had a good stay. Very good communication. The homemade bread and the welcome basket was much appreciated. Very quiet and pretty location. It was delightful watching all the birds on the grass in front of the cottage. Cottage was well equipped and clean. We would certainly enjoy going back one day. It took a bit of getting used to having no internet and no service on our phones but nice to be without such distraction for a while. Thank you Doug and Jan.

We are pleased that your inability to connect on the property did not adversely affect your stay. Many guests do manage to connect and Telcos are working very hard to ensure that rural regions have good connectivity overall, and whilst the major Telco(s) do provide a far reaching service, there are several that at this stage do not. When you add to the mix the majestic Karri forests that surround much of Denmark and the property you can see the challenge. Luckily for those who can’t on the property find connectivity is usually only a few minutes away and many services in and around town provide connection via free Wi Fi. As you have so graciously stated, being unplugged for a while provides a rest from such distractions. It also provides guests time to soak up the wildlife and environment for which Denmark is so well known. Thank you again for your lovely feedback.

Lovely relaxing stay

We had a great stay 2 night stay at Boronia Cottage. The kitchen was well equipped, and the beds were super comfortable.It was a great location to explore Greens Pool, Elephant rocks and National park area as well as Denmark and the wineries on Scotsdale Road. The hosts were lovely. There was a lovely basket with breakfast supplies - freshly baked bread, eggs, butter and jam. We didn't have a huge amount of phone reception, but that was something that we enjoyed most about the stay.
