This nicely presented home is quite quirky with a feel of beach and Bali inside. There are 2 bedrooms in this property both with king size beds and built in wardrobes, one of the bedrooms upstairs has an ensuite, plus a double sofa couch in the lounge room. There is a second bathroom downstairs. Great sized lounge room with Balinese furniture and a TV, lounge area opens out on the deck. The kitchen has a fridge/freezer, gas stove top/oven, microwave, combined kitchen/dining area.

Linen hire is not included, if guests wish to hire sheets, towels, pillowcases and have made beds up prior to arrival, there is an additional fee of $50.00 per person not included in the nightly rates or clean fee.

Perfect l9cation and l9vely house. A few little things such as the blinds in the bedroom could do with fixing but itherwise everyone was great.

Warm and cosy basic beach hideaway

Kitchen amenities sparse. Bedding from Stayz booking which says 2 queen beds in one room incorrect - site needs to be updated. Super position.

Nice break, near a great beach

We really enjoyed Moreton and the place was great. Only thing I would say is for them to update photos and details on amenities. The tv gets no reception. There is no wifi, and as much as I love a getaway, I did not need to bring my laptop had I known. Otherwise, lovely place, spacious, great yard, a wonderful relaxing place to stay, near the Moreton island ferry point.

Hartley’s Heaven

We had the most fantastic time! This is one of our favourite places on earth, and in our opinion the best place to stay on the island. The Bali Hai made our trip even more memorable. This is a quirky little house full of charm. It had everything we needed including huge comfy beds. Some of the fixtures and fittings were a little worn, but hey who’s worried about that when you’re on Moreton Island! The house is a two minute walk to the most beautiful beach which is perfect for my boys as this part of the beach does not permit traffic and is quiet and safe. So easy for having a fish or paddling out on the SUP with the dolphins in the evening. I will definitely look forward to returning. X

Bali Hai Beach house

Great location with easy access north and south of the Island. Management were quick to help and assist with any requests we had. We’ll be back!! Thanks Paula and co.

Wonderful Stay

Lovely cabin style accommodation, clean and great location. Manager was really lovely and helpful. Great experience, we all really enjoyed our stay. Highly recommended.

Helpful Hosts

I can't review Bali Hai because we didn't get to stay there, however we were accommodated in a unit nearby and our host was extremely helpful. We were there during the flooding so it was a bad time to be on Tangalooma. Our accommodation was good and our hosts were great. We hope to visit again soon and will definitely book again with this host.

You won’t regret staying here

Pros - location. So close to the beach, which is *car free*. It’s wonderful not having to keep an eye out for cars all the time while the kids are playing. It’s almost beachfront, the only thing between the house and the beach is a little hut. You can see the water from inside the house. - cleanliness. One of the cleanest houses I’ve stayed in. So impressed. - in a quiet village, you feel like a million miles away from the city. - beds are pillows very, very comfortable. Cons: - because the house is solar powered there is no toaster. We just used the griller which was fine but used it a lot and could have done with a roll of foil to re-line it after a few uses. It really didn’t impact our stay though! Overall this house is an absolute gem and wouldn’t hesitate staying here again. Thanks so much for having us!!

Not fake

We all loved Moreton Island and Bali Hai was perfect accomodation for us. Easy access to the barge, beach and all that Moreton has to offer. As their slogan goes Moreton Not Fake and neither is Bali Hai.

Ideal base from which to explore Moreton Island

Clean and well appointed house. Large fridge and separate freezer a must as provisions are expensive on the island. Warm in the winter, don't forget to bring your own fire wood. Ideally located, 100m from the beach and short drive to the ferry landing. We will be returning!

Nice little house plenty of Solar power. Could do with some little touches like handsoap for bathrooms and a lighter for the gas stove. Little leak in roof needs fixing as there is drip in the lounge room. Overall pretty good for the money.
