Lincoln Beach Retreat

Formerly known as Sleaford Bay Retreat, Lincoln Beach Retreat is located 22km south of Port Lincoln (15min drive). A unique position offering spectacular views nestled on the edge of Sleaford Bay, Sleaford Mere and Lincoln National Park .
Only a few minutes walk to Mary Ellis Wreck Beach, Port Lincoln's closest surf beach. Local wildlife including kangaroos, koalas, emus and an array of bird life.
Whale watching during Jul/Aug/Sep, Southern Right Whales migrate to the shores of Sleaford Bay.

Nice house in a beautiful location. Great place to unwind. House had everything we needed and it isn’t far to pop into Pt Lincoln for supplies. Beautiful views of the Mere and Wreck Beach. Observing the koala visits were a highlight. Look forward to my next trip.

Absolutely loved it!

Location is amazing and house very well equipped for our group of five. Our host promptly replied to any queries we had during our stay. We all loved our week and hope to return.

Stunning location

Highly recommend property

Amazing property, clean and tidy, and the views are breath taking. Many hours enjoyed walking along the beach, climbing sand dunes, whale watching and watching the friendly Koloa all without even hoping into the car.

Fabulous location, twitcher paradise

Our second stay, and hopefully not our last. Divine location, comfortable house with everything you could need. Happy that the local koala showed up for the last evening to say hello (and the next morning to say goodbye) Thanks Thomas, looking forward to our next stay already

Perfect

Just had the most wonderful time. So much to do in this area. Fishing, beach walking, climbing the sand dunes, enjoying the koalas, enjoying the views. A very comfortable house with a good selection of pantry goods provided. Thomas always responded quickly to communication. Highly recommend this holiday house😀

Best views we have ever had in a rental

We were stunned when we walked into the home and saw the panoramic view before us. This home is on the top of a hill, and unless you really look for it, you only see water, trees and sand dunes out of windows. The master bedroom, kitchen and living room, and outdoor living area all have fantastic views. This house was perfectly sited and designed to bring the outdoors in.The house had everything we needed to make our own meals.The resident koala was on the porch everyday, as well as it's friend who visited one day. If you hear noises on the roof, it's probably the koala. :-)The owner was quick to respond to messages and we felt we had everything we needed.The property is about 20 minutes from Port Lincoln, and that was perfect. Close enough to run in for a meal or groceries, but far enough away that we felt we were in an untouch remote part of South Australia.We hope to return!

Wow

As soon as you open that door and hear the soft music playing and that view just smacks you in the face you are sucked in. I absolutely love staying here , this holiday was my bday request all a wanted for my bday was another holiday here. The koala,ocean ,sand dunes, comfy furniture and seafood shop down the road it's perfect. Thomas is wonderful to communicate with. Thankyou for allowing people to enjoy this house and thankyou for making my bday that bit more special.

Fun in the sand

Had a great 5 day stay in Sleaford. The house was in a perfect location next to beach and cliffs for walking, surfing, fishing and off-roading. What a view from the deck. The house was really well heated for a winter break. Beds really comfortable and wifi tv etc all great for keeping in touch while in the wilds!!

A stunning location and view

This was a fantastic house to get away from the bustle and gives you the space to breathe. The sounds of the ocean stream in throughout the day to give you a sense of peace.

Perfect spot!

We loved our stay! The location is amazing, loved waking up and having a coffee at the veranda enjoying the amazing view. The house is well equipped and we had everything we needed. The Koala visit was a high point for the kids. Port Lincoln is a paradise, we are definitely thinking of returning in the future and I would be more than happy to stay at this property again. Thanks Thomas for allowing us to stay at your lovely home!

Fantastic location with great views and accommodation that was luxury and comfortable

Our little family thoroughly enjoyed EVERYTHING Lincoln Beach Retreat offered. The bonus Koala visitor was amazing and the location and proximity to tourist attractions and things to explore we tried to take full advantage of. Listening to the roar of the sea was never tiresome and we will definitely return as we have yet to explore the EP completely. Wonderful place to stay Thomas we truly loved our getaway

Best place we've ever stayed!

I've stayed in a lot of fancy rental homes in my time and this takes the cake. So spacious, so relaxing, and views beyond your imagination. We woke up to a koala perched on the verandah looking at us, with a vista of the national park and beaches behind her. A real Aussie slice of paradise.

Sensational Sleaford

From the moment you walk in you get a sense of ease. perfect views, greeted by a southern wright whale literally waving at us from the balcony! Heating was excellent! kitchen utensils all there, no need to pack anything. Plenty fridge space for all the fish we caught. Quiet peaceful place. Lots of birds and wildlife. Whilst writing this , we wish we could be back there. Next time we will book it for longer, we stayed 5 nights, couple more would be great, No complaints whats so ever. Maybe a recycle bin would be good for all our recyclables! And maybe perhaps a outdoor balcony heater in working order would be nice, but thats a first world problem. Enjoy Sleaford bay retreat, WE DID!
