Huge home with stocked kitchen, private bathrooms for every bedroom, TV’s everywhere, double fridge, double dishwasher, mini fridges and ice makers(never had to buy ice for our coolers for the beach). Each bathroom had a small toiletry set(shampoo, conditioner, bodywash, lotion). Towels and linens included. The beach is calm and relaxing. You don’t have to rush out in the morning to set up your beach tent/chairs like you do at other beaches. The elevated pool allows a perfect view out to the beach if you like to keep an eye on the older kids while you’re at the house. Grocery is about 15 minutes away (piggly wiggly). Alcohol is sold at gas stations and general stores (not grocery store). We cooked large meals for our family, but also several restaurant options in the area if you want to eat out which we did a couple times in smaller groups. I had wondered about the bayou water crossing between the house and beach and if we could access the beach. Yes, we were able to walk out to the beach from the house but had to walk a little to the right and through a small shallow area of the water. Was not a deal breaker by any means. We would absolutely stay here again!
