«The Gathering Place» est l'endroit idéal pour que votre famille se réunisse pour célébrer votre soldat ou une occasion spéciale. Il est idéalement situé à proximité de l'Interstate 185 et du nord de Columbus. Les magasins (Peach Tree Mall et Columbus Park Crossing) et les restaurants sont très proches. Nous avons 3 chambres, toutes ont de nouveaux matelas Beautyrest Silver et une chambre séparée avec un futon et une télévision. Les salles de bain sont rénovées et disposent d'une douche à l'italienne dans la salle de bain principale et d'une baignoire jacuzzi dans la salle de bain. Le salon dispose d'une télévision de 50 pouces avec Internet rapide et télévision par câble. La cuisine est prête pour que vous cuisiniez un repas spécial et un gril à charbon est disponible sur le porche couvert à l'arrière. Clôturé dans la cour arrière pour plus d'intimité. Minutes à St. Hôpital Francis, Chick-fil-a et Starbucks.

Great rental and as advertised- quiet neighborhood, comfortable and has everything you need. For us, location to Fort Benning was very convenient at only about 16 minutes. Would definitely stay again! Thanks Belinda!

The location was very close to all the activities we had planned. We loved the layout of the house. It was open and roomy. My grandsons loved to soak in the bathtub with the jets. You cannot beat the hosts. We had to stay another night and they accommodated are need wth understanding and ease. I highly recommend The Gathering Place.

We stayed here while in town for our son’s Army graduation, and it was the perfect place for our visit. The location was wonderful—very close to the base and several restaurants, which made it easy for us to go back and relax at the house and spend time with family between events. The owner was also very responsive with communication as well. We had a fantastic experience and would definitely recommend staying here!

Wonderful place to stay for my grandson's turning green ceremony. Very nice neighborhood, location was close to everything we needed. Plenty of space for the 5 of us, and he was in heaven having his own room. The beds and pillows were so comfortable, we all slept great. I would highly recommend.

Probably the aspect that stood out the most to me was my interaction with the hostess. She was incredibly helpful, kind and went above and beyond to answer my many questions. By her opening up her personal house to us, I was able to give our soldier a sense of “home” after 73 long days away from his actual home. I was able to cook his favorite meals, and we watched our favorite TV shows as we cuddled. The beds are amazing. More comfortable than any hotel bed I’ve ever slept in. All in all, I am one very happy customer. Thank you, Belinda.

We really enjoyed our stay at Belinda’s home! The property is located in a nice, quiet neighborhood with easy access to the Columbus/Fort Benning area. The house is actually much more spacious than the pictures make it look—you really don’t get a sense of how much room there is until you arrive.The house was very clean, and every room was thoughtfully and cutely decorated. We loved the Americana theme! The kitchen was clean, well-equipped, and had plenty of space to prepare a nice meal. The bedrooms and bathrooms were also very clean, with fresh sheets and towels.Belinda was a wonderful host—very hospitable, accommodating, and understanding when our plans changed and our actual number of guests differed from what we originally booked. Her communication was prompt, helpful, and greatly appreciated.The only drawbacks for us were that the beds were a little firmer than we prefer, and the shower handles in both bathrooms weren’t very clear about which direction was hot or cold. I nearly scalded myself in the main bedroom while trying to adjust the temperature!Other than those minor issues, we really enjoyed our stay and were able to relax and unwind for a few hours on Saturday. Well done, Belinda! If we need a place to stay in Columbus again, you’ll definitely be our first choice!

The host was excellent and very accommodating. The house was perfect and exceptionally clean . There were extra items to help with your stay that most condos do not provide. The neighborhood was safe to walk around and explore.

Amazing stay!

We came for our son’s Army graduation and had such a perfect time at this location! Wonderful place to stay, close to the base so we could relax at the house with family! Great communication from the owner! We DEFINITELY would recommend staying here!

This house was in a great location for our Ft Benning ceremony visit. The neighborhood felt safe and the house was very clean. The host was very responsive and prompt in communication and helped getting the extra sheets we couldn’t find for the futon and replacing the can opener with Walmart delivery when we found the can opener not working safely and also had scissors delivered at the same time as we noted scissors would be nice in the kicthen. The backyard is beautiful, although we did not use it much because of the heat. Do note that the grill is a charcoal grill (I didn’t notice this when reviewing before booking - not sure if it stated that or not). But that did discourage us from using it as we did not want to take that on. We booked the house again for our August ceremonies!

Close to Fort Benning and the perfect size for our family to gather and visit. Belinda and her husband were very responsive to my text and calls! I would recommend and stay again.

Home away from Home

Excellent location. If you going to cook, well stocked and laid out kitchen and dining. Plenty of room to be together and to be separate when wanting quiet time. Easy access to base for military ceremonies and to sight see. Quiet and safe neighborhood to walk in. Host was extremely attentive before, during and after booking.

OSIT graduation

We stayed at The Gathering Place for our son’s graduation from OSIT. The house far exceeded our expectations. It was clean, the beds were very comfortable, and it was decorated so lovely. We had everything we needed for our few days stay that it truly felt like we were at home. We would most definitely stay here again! Thank you so much everything!

Great place to stay!!

We stayed here for our son's turning blue ceremony & graduation. This was a great place to stay!! Located in a safe quiet neighborhood that was a short drive to the base. House was exactly as listed. Belinda was very courteous & helpful. Would highly recommend & will try to stay here again for our son's Airborne graduation.

Quiet, safe, peaceful neighborhood located within minutes of 185 and just 15 minutes to the Visitors Gate at Fort Benning. The mattresses were purchased in January 2020. The home is located within literally minutes of a major mall, CFA, Starbucks, and many other popular places. A major hospital is located within 5 minutes!
