Overview

About the property

Convenient and central 4 Bedroom, 3 bath with Mountain and Golf views.

Access and convenience meet Mid Century in this peaceful mountain home overlooking Lake Junaluska and the 9th hole of the Golf Course. Located 2 houses off of highway 19 headed in to Maggie Valley you are 25 minutes to Asheville, 35 minutes to the Airport and 5 minutes to Waynesville, Maggie Valley, Clyde and Canton, some of the best towns the Smokey Mountains have to offer. The home has just been updated throughout and is clean, modern, and stylish in every room. Newly furnished throughout, all furniture in both king bedrooms, the queen, and the trundle room. We love a clean seamless experience when we travel and want to offer the same for our travelers.

There are three full bathrooms, a new HVAC unit which is more than ample for quick heating or cooling of the entire 2000+ square feet which is all on one level. Including parking which can accommodate several vehicles as you can park behind the house and have entry to mudroom. You also can unpack and pack on a level area as you arrive and leave, driving in and out is a breeze.

This home does have road noise from Highway 19 at times if you are outside. That said once inside the noise is minimal to none and the views are well worth keeping the windows open. You will see the moon rise over the Lake Junaluska while stargazing from the living room. Or wake up by the natural wood burning fireplace as you watch the steam rise off the lake with swans and geese swimming in the distance. Lake Junaluska is a beautifully maintained community with a 5+ mile walk around the lake.

We are located on the 9th hole of the Golf Course so if you are a golfer you are steps away from the clubhouse and less than 10 minutes to 4 other golf courses. Great location for winter as well as there is no problem getting in and out at all phases of the winter. This is good as Cataloochee Ski area is less than 15 minutes from the house. Plenty to do being this close to Asheville, Waynesville, Cherokee Casino, the Blue Ridge Parkway, and so much more. Under 30 minutes to several great little towns like Maggie Valley, Clyde, Canton, Sylva, Bryson City, Cherokee, and each have wonderful stores, eateries, hiking, mountain biking, tubing and plenty of other daily and nightly events.

Maggie Valley which is a little over mile from this property is a vacation themed area with festivals, shopping, eateries, camping, horse riding, golf, and all kinds of fun things for the family and kids. Additionally you have a brand new Ingles Grocery, Gas within 5 minutes from the house and Super Walmat, Belk's and Best Buy within 10 minutes..

NO GROUPS OR HOUSE PARTIES WARNING - WE RENT TO FAMILIES AND RESPONSIBLE ADULTS ONLY. Please note that the minimum check-in age is 25. We do not rent to house parties and/or party groups. We are in a quiet residential community and are looking for clientele who enjoy a more peaceful and convenient getaway. Basically said this is a well located and beautifully set Mid Century Modern home that is clean and exceptionally kept with some highway noise when you are outside. My wife and I also come from a sales background and customer service and happy clients are our motto's. Come and see and you will be pleased.

About Vivian Morgani

We are the Morgani family. My husband and I have been together for 20 years and married for 18. We both have a long history in the area. My husband, originally from Jacksonville Florida, has been coming to the Smokies his entire life. Looking through family albums, pictures of Autumn in the Smokey Mountains are a standard. His family and friends have come up every year for more than 40 years, giving us a lot of insight into what a person needs for a good vacation rental.

I am a Navy brat, traveling and adventure is in my blood. Born of a Spanish mother and a North American father, I've had the good fortune of doing a lot of traveling, to be exact 43 countries with many good and bad experiences all over the world.

My husband and I meet in Jacksonville waiting tables while we attended college. We started dating 11 months later and the rest is history. We both have a great passion for nature. We would come up to the Blue Ridge to camp as often as we could throughout the years. If it involves waterfalls, wildlife, beauty, gentleness and clean air, we love it! After dating for 2 1/2 years we knew that we had found our life partners so when we decided to get married, there was only one choice for us. We eloped to the Blue Ridge Mountains, got our marriage license in Henderson County and exchanged our vows on Frying Pan Mountain on the Blue Ridge Parkway. In attendance were our three fury children, two friends and mother nature, perfection. After college we decided it was time to figure out where we wanted to live, again, the answer was obvious to us. We moved to Asheville, NC in 2004.

Reese is a Realtor that works all the surrounding areas and has enjoyed success due to his vast knowledge of his field but also because of his passion for this area. Because of our love of travel, staying in many vacation homes, campgrounds and hotels, we decided to offer up our home as a vacation rental and share a slice of our heaven.

Why Vivian Morgani chose Waynesville

Lakes are few and the opportunity to have a home with incredible views and access was too much for us to resist. Convenience was a major factor, equal in importance to beauty. You are centrally located and can access it quickly. This home is in the heart of Lake Junaluska with two large crosswalks that lead you straight to the Lake. There is a 5.6 mile walk around it, mostly flat, that is so scenic it will make your heart hurt. Swans, geese, nature and charming well maintained community surrounds you. We are in the Lake Junaluska Association so you can rest assured the community is well maintained. Straight across from the golf course I can watch my husband while I drink my coffee on the patio. With my hip problems this one level home is a must. Although the home sits atop the hill, Links Lane is our and the neighbors access only. Once up the driveway the parking, living and viewing areas are flat and easy. Parking is in the back of the house and unloading suitcases or groceries are a breeze. The home has an ample heating and powerful AC with wood burning fireplace. The floor plan is perfect in that all living space is on front side of house with entire house lined with windows. It's convenient to all roads and major highways access, you won't get snowed or landlocked. Sure during traffic hours there is noise traffic outside the home. We don't mind some traffic noise in exchange for 180 degree views and ease of living. Hospital and medical care within 10 minutes from home. New Ingles grocery is a fast 5 minute trip as is the K-mart, restaurants and amenities. Super Walmart, is a 10 minute drive at most. It is located 29 minutes from downtown Asheville and 10 minutes to many towns and attractions

What makes this house unique

This is a NEW vacation rental and we are offering introductory competitive pricing to get things rolling. Steal for the area. I just can't say enough about the views in this home, you get a taste of it all. Lake Junaluska, golf course and Smokey Mountain views. Lake Junaluska community offers many amenities and events that harken back to Norman Rockwell imagery. The air is fresh and the water is clean. I can sit in the morning watching the swans and geese in the Lake while the dew steams off the golf range. We have tried to make the home modern and very clean. All towels and most linens are 100% cotton. We created a coffee center to free up kitchen space and offer both a stand-up bar table and mid-century tuilip seating set to interact in. The dining room table has an additional leaf to expand should you need the extra space. The living room and dining areas are wide open with the kitchen centrally located giving a bit of separation but keeping the living space communal and inclusive. The home is stream lined and polished while maintaining a prop your feet up and enjoy attitude. The wood burning fireplace is stunning and is made to pull up chairs and relax. When I walk into this home I feel like I can relax. It is easy to maintain and spacious. Want to go see the Elk, golf, hike, drive out to the Cherokee reservation/Casino, Ski or have many scenic routes to drive, 28 Links Lane is for you. Another great asset is that Asheville is only 28 minutes away which means world class Art galleries, dining and events are close by. The Asheville Airport is convenient and so is the outlet mall. This home is located conveniently for a traveler, whether you want to just sit, recoup and enjoy the views, discover charming surrounding mountain towns, visit farms, hike, fish or get into the electric nightlife and Arts in Asheville.

I LOVE THIS HOUSE!

  • 5 of 5

My daughter and I spent a few days of our Spring Break in this gorgeous place. The house was very spacious and clean with fabulous views from the floor to ceiling windows. I sat outside in a comfortable patio chair and relaxed while listening to the birds and watching the ducks and swans swim by on the lake. On the cool mornings we warmed by the wood fireplace. There were many little touches that made our stay here extra special. I have already booked it for my next vacation!

Wonderful home and area!

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I had our beach plans cancelled at the last minute for a spring break we had planned on since January. We scrambled to find a new getaway for our family of 5 and came across this gem! Vivian was wonderful to work with - very pleasant, helpful, etc.! The home is so clean and inviting. Our family of 5 was able to spread out throughout the house in very comfortable rooms, but also come together to play games and watch TV in a nicely decorated living room and dining room. We enjoyed walking and jogging the paths around Lake Junaluska. Playing golf was so easy - the club house is just down the driveway. We played twice! We were able to get to Maggie Valley and Asheville for easy trips to restaurants and shopping (We highly recommend Frankie's in Maggie Valley if you enjoy Italian and brick oven pizzas!). We also shopped the cute downtown shops off Main Street in Waynesville. Hiking was close with places such as Waterrock Knob off the Blue Ridge Parkway. The only issue was the traffic on Hwy 19. You can't hear it in the house, but it is noisy from the patio. However, it lulled me to sleep in the sun one afternoon when out reading on the comfy patio furniture, so that's a perk! I did make sure my kids were super safe crossing to get over to the Lake Junaluska trails. We highly recommend this wonderful home if needing a place to stay in the Lake Junaluska area.

Clean and Beautiful

  • 5 of 5

This is a fabulous place to stay. Clean does not describe it. The home and property was spotless. Big thick soft fluffy towels, clean soft sheets, and the view is wonderful. Out the front a beautiful sunrise every morning. Vivian was a jewel of an owner, and was available if we needed anything. I recommend this home as a place to stay in Waynesville or Lake Junaluska. Comfortable...and beautiful! I hope we can stay here again! Thanks Vivian for everything!!!

Wonderful rental!

  • 5 of 5

I have stayed at many rentals over the years, and this was by far the best house I have ever rented! It was just as described, which is not always the case in a rental property. Vivian has done a superb job decorating the house and it is impeccable! Very clean and everything you need is in the house. It is in a great location. She is so easy to work with. When we arrived there was a chocolate cake on the table and it was scrumptious! Overall, it was the best rental experience I have ever had. If you want a beautiful house on Lake Junaluska, this is the one! We will definitely return!
