Waterfront getaway! Pool, lake views and unforgettable memories.

This lakeside house is located on the beautiful Colorado arm of Lake LBJ. The wall of windows overlook the swimming pool and incredible views. There is an outdoor covered BBQ area with bar seating. Enjoy a open concept floor plan, detached bunk room (separate from main house) and a newly renovated container, which has a full bath. The home has many creative living spaces for all guests. This is the perfect place to entertain family and friends. There are NO jet ski lifts or place to tie them up. The private boat launch is conveniently down the road for easy access. The boat dock is best for boats up to 24 feet and NO pontoon boats or jet ski.
Cheers to cocktails by the lake and toast to the BEST views on LBJ. The "Lagocita" is like no other. Cozy yet modern home that feels like a "cabana" by the lake!

We love Lagocita!

The perfect spot for our family to gather - half of us drive in from San Antonio and the other half from Austin. It’s got everything we need with the bunkhouse, container, and bedrooms on the house. We love the kitchen’s wide open space to let all our cooks get in to work and the dining room is perfect for game nights! the veranda and pool are the spot for relaxing and stargazing. The dock is just right for our boat day. It’s a perfect slice of Heaven in the center of Texas!

We had 2 families and grandparent all stay comfortably, relaxed and lots of entertainment. The owner was great at communicating. The kids loved the pool, the patio has large fans to keep cool and the mosquitoes away. The house is quiet and beds were all very comfortable. We had a full table tennis tournament, grilled out and movies on the tv. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking. The RV that was on the listing has been converted to a shipping container, which was great because it had a full bath. The AC in the container and the bunk house both cooled the room down quickly. We didn’t have any issues or complaints and would love to have the next gathering here.

Great place to get away

We really enjoyed our one week stay in Lagocita. The house is comfortable and well decorated and has a great vista of the lake. The home is in very good shape with everything in working order which is unusual for many vacation properties these days. Had one very small issue and the hostess Tricia had it fixed same day - she takes great care of the property and its guests. Plenty to do in that area too with a beautiful winery and a couple of state parks very close by. Oh, and the pool is super well maintained and saved us from the 100 deg heat that came early this year. I would highly recommend staying in this home.

Great location for a group getaway

Well appointed and suited for a family with a group of teenagers looking to do something… pool and lake and ping pong … and a section of the river where everyone is close and hospitable! Middle of the week was peaceful on the lake while the weekend was busy… but not overly so. I recommend reserving a boat, small ski fits the boat lift

Great LBJ stay

We had a fabulous time at this property. The host was incredible and was easy to work wit and responded immediately to anything we needed. The house is very nice, clean, and is extremely well stocked with everything you need. The pool is super nice and such a bonus to have. Location on the lake is also great, near everything, but also enough away from the main area of the lake to make you feel a touch more secluded. We cannot wait to come back

Perfect Stay

This property is a gem. We stayed over the 4th of July with one other family. 4 adults and 7 kids, age range 6-10. Beautifully decorated, excellent pool, great location. We utilized the boat lift, had a few issues and Sterling remedied them immediately. Tricia was super responsive and very easy to get a hold of. Always checked to make sure we were doing ok, which I appreciated. Please note the bunk room is detached but accessible through the screen porch- all which can be locked. We felt safe letting our kiddos stay out there by themselves but if they were younger, it might’ve been a concern (just a heads up to anyone with way younger kiddos). The listing says detached so we knew what we were booking. Everything is exactly as described. Cute layout. Just can’t say enough great things about this house. Thanks Tricia!

Great place!

Such a cute place to stay on the lake. Bright and open main area with great water views! Plenty of room inside for making meals and playing board games. Nice pool that you can relax in and watch all the activities on the lake. Paddle board, kayak and lily pad to enjoy the water. Tricia, the host, had wonderful communication- checked in on us to make sure we got in ok and quick responses to any of our questions. We will definitely come back!

Lagocita - Lakeside & Laid Back

What a wonderful place for our family to gather to rest, relax, and refresh ourselves in a haven on the water. Access to the lake, the beautiful pool and porch - great cooking spots in the kitchen and at the grill. Great room was perfect for our family meals and games! Great spaces to meet the needs of our family in every way! Tricia is a great host - thoughtful and supportive - ready to answer any question! This is our third or fourth stay at Lagocita - we love it!!!

Our Third Visit!

What can I say? Our family cannot get enough of Tricia's charming lake house. This was our third visit! Our host has managed to capture the authentic ambience of the special cottages we used to visit as children. We were a party of six: My 89 year old mother, two couples and my brother. With 3 bathrooms, a bunk room, master suite, double room and beautifully appointed container, there was lots of room to spread out, be together or have privacy. The down filled living room furniture is beyond comfortable. The view over the sparkling pool to the water is divine. We enjoyed having coffee and cocktails on the deck. Meals were a snap in the perfectly outfitted kitchen. We didn't use the outdoor kitchen but plan to do so next time. Overall, Tricia's place is fantastic and her communication is tops. She answered any question in record time and we never just "made do." 10/10 is our score for this genuine lake cottage.

Eclipse stay

This place was booked so that we could stay along the line of totality for the 2024 total solar eclipse. It was the perfect place for us. The facilities were accommodating for our group of 8 adults. With a pool and great riverfront property. Though there were a few issues the host was extremely responsive. If we ever make it back to this area of Texas I would consider staying here again.

Cant wait to return

We absolutely loved our stay here. The house is well appointed and the lakefront location can’t be beat. We loved swimming in the pool, fishing (live minnows seemed to work best) and just relaxing and enjoying the peaceful property. My 3 year old had a blast and we felt very secure with her around the water with all of the safety locks on the doors. We can’t wait to book again! Perfect family and friends getaway.

Loved the Stay!

Tricia was very prompt and informative! The place was perfect for our needs to have a fun get away weekend. It slept us surprisingly comfortable. The annex with multiple beds did not pose any problems and had more than adequate AC. The pool was a great touch and relaxing change from our normal lake visits. Would definitely recommend to Friends and Family!

Family vacation

Our family has an amazing time at Burnet. The house and pod were so neat and clean. The patio and pool was so fun and awesome, being able to swim, float, sit, or watch the activity on the lake. The dock was perfect for sitting, fishing, or swimming. Fishing was good. There was a lot of boat traffic but everyone seemed to respect the other boat and docks with people swimming etc. we really enjoyed our stay.

Great House!

We really enjoyed our time here! This is the 4th house we’ve stayed at on LBJ- and probably our favorite. The water is deep at the house for jet ski use and swimming! It has a Lilly pad that’s anchored to the ground of the lake- which is super helpful. The pool is a very nice size- not too small. Everything is just steps away. There’s a walkway to the dock and water. Neighborhood is quiet and the ramp is just down the street- also a clean place to put in (unlike some ramps full of leaves and algae). The master bed was very comfortable! The living room furniture is very comfortable! The outdoor grill is high quality and very big- just outside the door. Great location on the lake! Centralized and very pretty view. We were really pleased with this property- and plan to stay again!

Lovely Lagocita!!!

Our second visit to Lagocita for our annual family getaway - and we loved it again! Our family loves the easy access to the lake - the lily pad is a fave - and the pool is perfect for easy conversation after hours on the boat. Tho the airstream was cute - the container was a great addition. Lagocita’s decor is simply perfect - easy, comfortable, the sofa and chairs feel like warm hugs. The kitchens indoor and out were great for culinary creative collaborations. Tricia is a gracious host - communication is easy and we felt warmly welcomed. We can’t wait to book Lagocita again next year.

Great Place to Stay!

Our whole family spent the week at the lake. The house was fantastic, location was great. We loved being right on the water and the use of the dock/boat lift so we could easily get on the water quickly. The kids LIVED in the pool. Couldn't ask for a better place on the lake! We're definitely coming back.

Beautiful Property

This home was perfect for a much needed getaway. Tricia’s communication was on point which created smooth booking process. The house is fully equipped with all that you need including the boat dock to enjoy the water or park your boat. We will definitely be staying again!!
