The master suite boasts a private screened in porch overlooking the water and a luxurious en-suite bathroom. Guests will also love the additional bedrooms, each with their own unique character and charm. Enjoy the screened in porches, decks and fire pit. Fabulous 2 story boat dock with covered section, outdoor kitchen and 13 ft. diving platform with rope swing. One boat lift available to renters and additional tie up space along the dock. The 2 bedroom guesthouse with living room and kitchenette creates the perfect separate space for kids or a family.

We absolutely loved our stay. The house was amazing and the kitchen was stocked over and above!! The view was very nice with multiple sitting areas that accommodated our group so well. We enjoyed the kayaks, the paddle boards and the boat dock! We would love to stay here again in the future. Amazing!

We enjoyed our stay at The Gathering Place. The pictures are accurate representations and the outdoor space is really wonderful. In general though this felt more like someone's 2nd home that is VRBO'd vs. some of the other options we have stayed at that were designed as vacation rentals.Location is great on a quieter part of the lake as well and only about 10 minutes into kingsland

Great location for boating

We stay every summer on LBJ, this was one of the best vacation homes we have stayed at. Great location to jet ski and boat. We had 5 kids ranging from 8-16 years stay at the house and when we weren’t boating they were swinging off the dock rock or playing ping pong. Owner was available to answer questions quickly. We will be back next year.

Stayed here 2 years in a row and will be back. Great spot. Awesome dock, fishing is good. The host is very responsive and everything you need is provided. 5 stars.

The Gathering Place is such a beautiful property with amazing amenities. We had 16 people, mostly adults, and we felt there was still plenty of space for all of us. Our kids (9,11, teens and adult kids) all 'lived' on the enormous upper dock. We watched an evening storm from the beautiful master bedroom screened porch. It was so peaceful and pleasant. The host was attentive and accommodating. We easily will book this property again in the future.

Beautiful Weekend on the Lake

Find a stretch of time that should have good weather and enjoy it with others here. Was basically summer weather in October for us and perfect water. Fantastic dock and outdoor area overall plus a house with plenty amenities.

Great spot for a big family!

The owners of this property have created a beautiful, comfortable spot that is great for a large family gathering. The kitchen has everything you need--bonus points for Tajin in the spice rack! The beds were comfortable. The fire pit is awesome and the place is well equipped with paddle boards, kayaks, and life jackets. We will absolutely stay here again in the future!

Amazing stay close to nature

We had a wonderful time staying at this property with nice view and all the facilities you need for your stay away from home to be comfortable. Bill was proactively providing details and prompt in responding to any queries. It was a five star stay for us and we would certainly consider visiting this amazing vacation home sometime soon!

Perfect escape

Property accommodated our 3 families with abundant space. It came with everything we needed to enjoy the long weekend. It’s close to Spider Mountain, a winery, and a State Park with caverns. We will definitely return!

Great Gathering

Owner was excellent to work with, and made sure we had a great stay. Excellent with the details (sharp, quality knives for example). Lots of space inside and out. The dock and patio are especially nice. We had 9 adults and one infant, with plenty of space, kitchen gear, games, etc
