Excellent value!!! Use as a home base or opt to stay in all day. We most enjoyed the comfortable bed, the hot shower, and the sunlight. We really appreciate the private nature of this place even in the midst of a pretty neighborhood. Kudos to Cris for a welcoming stay.

Cris was a terrific host!! Very sweet and welcoming. The apartment was spotless, the bed was very comfortable, the heat/AC worked perfectly, the shower pressure was fantastic--I couldn't ask for better accommodations! Highest recommendation.

Great location and ideal setup for one or two travelers seeking a home base for exploration of the area! Excellent value! Privacy A. Shower/bath A. Bed A- only because the mattress extends slightly beyond the frame, meaning you might opt for a different location if two larger-than-average individuals are sharing a bed. Kitchenette also gets an A for its perfectly functional fridge and microwave. Coffee maker left a little to be desired, but there are plenty of places nearby to grab some coffee. Cleanliness and ambience, amenities: A. Host hospitality: A. This place is a real find. We will definitely stay here again if we have reason to return to Alexandria!

Cute Little Place

The apartment was cute and very clean. It was just right for 2 adults. We found Corta Coffee and breakfast nearby. We went there every morning. It was an easy drive to the Metro and Old Town Alexandria. I would definitely come back to this VRBO!

The place was cozy and clean, but there was no toilet paper other than the roll on the holder, so I had to buy a package of toilet paper and left the extra rolls there for the next guest. The electric kettle in the kitchenette had some standing water that was left and a layer of mold was on the surface, so I had to scrub it really good before I used it. I made sure it was dry when I left. The smoke alarm jarred me awake at 7:06am on Saturday, so that was interesting and scary-thank goodness there was no fire or smoke! Overall I enjoyed my stay and was very happy here.

Thank you for your feedback. You could have asked for toilet paper, as we usually leave 1-2 rolls rolls on a 3-day stay. There were also extras in the kitchen cabinet, so I don't understand why wanted to emphasize that you had "left extra rolls for the next guest" Also, the kettle can accumulate condensation and stain the metallic part, which is not green mold. You could have brought up all these things, and they'd be promptly rectified. Apologies for the alarm clock, not sure what triggered it... I asked you at least once if you needed anything and nothing was mentioned, unfortunately... Happy travels!

Anniversary trip

Nice property. Liked the peacefulness and quiet neighborhood. The only complaint is did not like last minute communication I want to be aware of no issues a little sooner. Overall great place would stay again.

Very Spacious

This was a great location with a lot of space. Enjoyed all the amenities provided. Bug fridge, nice closet, work desk, and plenty of space for moving around. Easy to find parking on the street as well. Will definitely be back.
