Welcome to Z’s Escape! This newly constructed Beach house is over 1,500 square feet and offers all the comfort you need to have a perfect get away. Enjoy the beautiful coastal décor with an open floor concept, inviting living and dining room. There is a fully stocked kitchen with granite counter tops and stainless-steel appliances. This house has a large master bedroom and two additional spacious bedrooms. Enjoy the view of the sunset from the covered front porch and the first level game room will keep the kids entertained.

Drive 2 minutes or walk 8 minutes to the 5th street beach access. Z’s Escape is conveniently located near great restaurants, grocery stores, movie theater, the Wright Brothers Museum and the Avalon Fishing Pier.

In the morning walk to the beach to capture the beautiful sunrise, walk to the sound and admire some of the most amazing sunsets on the OBX or bike along the bay path.

No pets allowed - pet free. No smoking/vaping.

Great Getaway

This was a charming little house that suited our needs perfectly. It is just minutes from both the beach and the sound. It is a stone's throw from the Wright Brothers Museum and a short drive to restaurants and shopping. The home was nice, clean, well taken care of and in a low traffic cul-de-sac which was nice. We would definitely recommend this location in the OBX.

Perfect place to stay on OBX

This property is beautiful, clean and in a great location. Short walk to the beach, close to restaurants and entertainment. We were beyond impressed with the cleanliness and unkept maintenance of this home.10/10 recommend for your OBX stay.

Great vacation spot!

We picked this location for a long weekend at the Outer Banks. The pictures were spot on; the property was the perfect size for our group and the charming decor made us feel immediately at home. The location was also perfect, just off the main road. Would absolutely rent this property again!

First time to OBX

This was our first time to the OBX and the location was perfect. The house was very clean and the area was quiet. I felt at home as well. I would recommend this property to those who are visiting the area.

Perfect Getaway

This was the perfect spot for a long weekend (wish it could’ve been longer). Clean, comfortable and short walk to the beach. Plenty of space for our group of 4 adults and 2 kids. Will return!

Clean but skimpy

Clean house and great location. We found it a bit annoying that we had one soap for the dishwasher, one roll of TP for each bathroom and no sharable condiments. It was also a bit demanding on the checkout as far as cleaning.The short walk to the beach is a little more than we expected with how busy the main road is. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay.

Calm Before the Storm

We really enjoyed our stay at the Z's Escape. This was by far one of the best places we have stayed in. The property was immaculately clean, comfortable, with all the amenities needed, and perfectly located. We really enjoyed relaxing after spending most of the days at the beach. Unfortunately we had to cut our vacation short due to weather but at least we got a few sunny days in the OBX.

Great house for family vacation

House size was perfect for family of five. Location to shopping and food was great. Also centrally located in the OBX so good base to explore north and south. House was clean and comfortable. Only things less than 5 stars are the distance to the beach (we ended up heading south to Hatteras where it’s less crowded), bedding quality was not great and dryer took multiple attempts to dry one load. Washer/dryer and outside shower were great to have though.

Great new house not far from beach

Great house, very clean on arrival and very nicely decorated. Well equipped kitchen. Short drive to beach. Only downside is that you have to cross the major road and the private parking lot that was supposed to be available to us was full 2 of the 4 days requiring us to look for paid parking. Was still a good location close to restaurants, grocery stores and activities. Would definitely stay there again.

Mother/Daughter vacation

We really enjoyed the OuterBanks and Z's Retreat. It was very clean, beds were very comfortable and just the right amount of room for the 4 of us. It would have been nice to have beach chairs for us to use instead of having the extra expense of purchasing or renting them. Other beach locations we have rented have had all beach equipment for us. But we would rent this place again if traveling to OBX.

Girls Golf Great location

Visited Area for 4 night girls golf. House was clean, kitchen well equipped. The 3 bedrooms are on same level as kitchen. Which we liked. The VRBO listing did not have pictures of bathrooms. One is in Main bedroom. The 2nd is in hallway.

Wonderful birthday getaway

This house is exactly as it is in the pictures. Super super clean, everything seems to be brand new which was nice. Beds were so comfortable, showers had great pressure which is always a plus. The outside shower was nice to have after a day at the beach. Having the covered area to pull the car under was nice as well. The house is close to everything and a public beach access is just across the street. Neighborhood was quiet and we enjoyed sitting on the front porch in the mornings having our coffee before we began our day. Everything needed to cook with was provided in the kitchen which is always a plus as well. I would definitely stay again and would recommend this house to everyone.

The house was located in an easily accessible area and far outweighed what we expected. It was nice and clean. The beds were great. It was stocked with anything you could need to cook and entertain.

New and clean

Nice, new property, very clean. Thought from the pictures it might be a little closer to the ocean, but there is a private parking lot next to the beach. The only odd thing were the cable stations, but there is a DVD player so bring movies.
