Beautiful property, exactly as advertised, the condo had everything we needed. Location was very nice, beautiful views, enjoyed having tea on the patio every morning and a hot tub in the evening. A very short drive into LadySmith. We would definitely recommend and would stay here again. Thank you.

The first floor unit we stayed at had an ocean view. Our 13 year old loved having the beach, heated outdoor pool and hot tub right at our doorstep. The unit was clean, bright and welcoming. Genevieve would respond quickly to any questions or requests I had, and it was a smooth check in and check out process. We loved our time there and made a lot of great memories. Highly recommend! Thank you so much.

This property was just right for us, ocean view, quiet atmosphere. It was a little remote, but good for us. Had to go outside for cell service, but internet was great. Hostess was awesome and I would definitely this property!!

Welcoming walk-in!!

The check in was a breeze. Everything was pristine and well decorated. We walked in and it automatically felt like home. We loved being able to enjoy both the pool and the open water. Overall experience was incredible and we can’t wait to come back again.

Beautiful property

The unit is beautiful, and very clean. It is a bit off the beaten track, so I would recommend bringing at least enough groceries for your first day with you. It was very quiet and peaceful at night, and the bed was very comfortable. Thanks for a relaxing get away.

I’m so glad you enjoyed your stay. We also find it peaceful, but indeed it is a bit rural so it’s a great suggestion for future guests to arrive with food, as the closest grocery store is about 10 minutes away. Thanks for booking with us 🙂

Great stay

The property is lovely. The communication with the owner was great. Lots to do and see.. and nothing is too far of a drive. One recommendation is the sofa bed was not comfortable, very soft.., between the 4 of us we all shared and each stayed 2 nights on the sofa bed to make it fair. (Maybe bring eye masks if you are on the sofa bed as it gets very bright in the living room area by 5 am. Thank you. Brigitte (Saskatoon)

Yearly trip

This was an annual trip for me and my daughter, and look forward to it for weeks (months) in advance. Crabbing right off the dock is a special bonus! This was the first time we stayed in a ground floor unit, and was worried about sound buy it was great. Genevieve was especially kind to us on our last day with an adjusted check out due to my being ill. Definitely back next year! … if not sooner!

Awesome Family Getaway

We loved our stay so much! It was clean, bright, well stocked, and beautifully decorated. We enjoyed stunning ocean views, sunrises and cotton candy skies as the sun set from the suite and patio. This suite being a corner unit is steps away from the beach, pool and playground. It was all just so easy and enjoyable! The owner is absolutely lovely and very responsive. Literally on the way home, I was messaging the owner to rebook! Highly recommend.

Relaxing /Serene

We enjoyed our stay at the condo. It has a beautiful view which we really enjoyed. It had everything you need and was very clean. Too bad it was rainy and cool. The only problem we had was not figuring out the tv. We could only get live tv ,Netflix and Prime . This is the second Time staying at the resort and hope to return. Thanks for sharing your lovely condo. Bill

Second annual family fun

This is our second year coming to stay at inn of the sea. We come with three other families and stay in separate units. This location is secret gem on the island. This was the first year we stayed in this unit and we were so pleased. It’s location to the pool was great. It was very tidy and had great beach themed decor. I was extremely pleased with how well equipped the unit was. Great instructions for arrival and book with great info upon checking in. It had everything required in each room. We utilized the pull out bed and there was nice soft bedding for it. There was also a drying rack and to-go style items for drinks by the pool. Will be booking this spot again. Thank you for having us.

This condo was amazing. It was exactly as described and pictured in the rental listing. The unit is comfortably & beautifully furnished & decorated. The kitchen is one of the best stocked kitchens that we have ever had at a rental. The entire Inn of the Sea property is extremely well cared for and it is so peaceful & relaxing here. Our host, Genevieve, has been very easy to communicate with and was always sure to check that everything was as we expected. All the information & instructions for the resort, and for this condo, were very clearly provided ahead of time, and in a binder located in the unit itself. Fantastic spot!

The pictures do not do it justice. The property and the views are absolutely gorgeous. The suite is very clean and well cared for. The backdrop with the sea behind the pool is also more beautiful than I expected. Can’t say enough good things. Highly recommend and would stay again.

Beautiful property

The view from this place is beautiful with an ideal view of the sunrise over the water. The pool and proximity to the ocean are the real draw to this property. Unfortunately it was very hot in the condo, and only one small fan was provided for two different sleeping areas, which made for uncomfortable sleepless nights. The pull out bed is also fine but it is difficult to sleep past 6am as the sun lights up the room at that time. Additional fans and blackout blinds would make this a great property to stay at.

Hi Derek, I’m sorry you felt it too warm in the condo. We’ve had unusually warm weather for the west coast this summer and our strata does not allow for air conditioning in the units. We find that by closing the blinds to the sun and opening them up once the sun passes, and keeping windows and the screen doors open allows for a nice ocean breeze to generally cool the space down. I have since found an additional portable fan for the living room as the ceiling fan is in the dining area just off the sleeping space. Indeed we do have blackout curtains in the bedroom but don’t have current plans to buy any for the living room as we enjoy the ocean view and sunrises. Perhaps travellers should consider packing a sleep mask as needed.

Fabulous place

We had an excellent time with our family at your place! Played tennis, went swimming, beach combing and a nice patio to looking out to the ocean. It was as advertised and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was close enough to go to either Nanaimo or Ladysmith. Two recommendations are better pillows and a hairdryer. Would highly recommend this place.

I’m so glad you enjoyed your stay. This is my first year doing this, so I’m still ironing out the kinks. New pillows have been purchased and I’ll be picking up a hair dryer too (thought I had one), but easy fixes. Thank you for the thoughtful feedback 🙂
