About this property

Kitesurf 1770 House - eco beach home

Our house is your home! Private entrance with a single set of stairs, huge deck space with dining table, hammocks and bean bags, massive kitchen and lounge area, 3 double rooms, 1 bunk room (4 singles), two showers and two toilets.

The kitchen is fully equipped with an overflowing pantry of spices, oils and herbs. Three fridges and large chest freezer. Sound system in-house and on deck. Two I push bikes, surfboards, gym, office space, large gardens and chickens laying fresh eggs. 350m to the beach!

The house can easily accommodate 10 guests (additional guests on request). It is walking distance from everything, ... quick walk to the beach (350m) & the shops (400m) so you don't even need to use your car (or shoes!)

All linen is provided, including beach and bath towels, blankets and doonas. Bedrooms are super comfortable, the living spaces are surrounded by plants, there are board games, books, hammocks and secret spaces to get lost in.

The area is quiet but very central, quiet streets with the sounds of the ocean at night.

Private locking door access with security pin issued on arrival. All rooms can be locked if required.

The only place that is not accessible is the 2dbr apartment downstairs where the onsite manage lives with his desexed old super friendly and gentle staffy puppy called Blue.

Guest have access to the entire top level of the house house, sharing 1 bathroom with toilet & 1 single toilet, huge kitchen and living spaces plus the outside and undercover large deck space. Watch the video!

We are pet friendly but ask that pets are kept out of the bedrooms and off the furniture.

The all house is surrounded by beautiful palm trees and bamboos which (for such a central location) make this place looking like you are a little bit like in the jungle. We now have 8 chickens that provide us with delicious organic happy bum eggs. Depending on production you are welcome to ask for some for your breakfast !

We are pet friendly, and live onsite out of the way in a private residence with a desexed very chilled out female puppy staffy called Blue, who can’t wait to meet you!

We are family friendly, however do not have cots or baby changing and feeding facilities. Guest will need to bring own cots and infant equipment. We charge per guest infants included

Lovely week away

We had a wonderful week away and this property was so relaxing, we loved the big deck. It is a close walk to the beach, restaurants and shopping. Loved being able to park the car and walk to everything.

A good place to chill

Very comfortable stay with heaps of room and lots of places to chill out and relax. Only a short walk to the main beach. James the property manager makes you feel at home and is always available to answer you questions and suggest activities.

Was a big enough space. The cupboards needed cleaning and the freezer a defrost smelt like fish. 🤢

All in all was good for sleeping. The outdoor area was a perfect living space and we used it more then inside. We made use of the boards available which was fun.

Family getaway made easy ☀️

Beautifully presented home with artistic vibes making our stay very comfortable. Everything you need is present, from an air fryer to multiple fridge/freezers, whisks to pasta strainers and a decent collection of herbs/spicers and sauces to use. Comfortable lounges, large table and chairs for meals or games (several of them are available to utilise too)! Our host, James, was extremely accomodating, friendly and chill. Our family, along with my brother in laws family (4 adults, 6 children in total), used this time and space to celebrate a belated Christmas as well as 4 birthdays! We all highly recommend James and his home to stay whilst in Agnes as it is clean, close to ammenities (grocery, seafood, post office, bottle O, Newsagent, takeaway options etc), patrolled beach, rocks and rock pools to explore, walking tracks, lookouts and all pet friendly.

Felt like a home away from home

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at kitesurf house. James made us feel very much at home right away and has definitely put a lot of thought into how to make his home comfortable, welcoming and convenient for families! Loved everything about the house - it is spacious, clean, well-equipped and set up in a way that makes you instantly relax. We really appreciate James' patience and flexibility as well as we had lots of young children in our group, so we not the quietest group! The kids loved meeting the chickens and of course, gorgeous little Betty!

Hey, im James and I manage the property as a live on site host with my dog Betty, a desexed female 9 year old lazy staffy. The house has two seperate living spaces. I love this little town and house, and really enjoy meeting people and hosting adventures. Alternatively if you are after a place completely to yourselves no drama, ill just go fishing/camping whilst you are here!

Ultimately this is your holiday space and ill do everything possible to make your stay fantastic so that you hopefully come again and again!

Check out the reviews online, you will see just how unique this location and house is. We have spent many years creating an incredibly relaxed and comfortable place for guests to enjoy. We pride ourselves on ensuring everyone feels like a local, and never wants to leave!

We have all the added extras and more, your group or family will feel totally at home!

What makes this property unique

Kitesurf school, surf boards, kayaks & bike hire ($20 or take me for pizza!), barefoot walk to everything, beach/shops/pub etc all on doorstep. Surrounded by maintained gardens, we have on-site chickens laying fresh eggs and a veggi and herb patch for all guests to enjoy.

We stock the pantry up with all the essentials including, teas, coffees, local honey, oils and spices. With two kitchens, one outside on the deck and one open plan indoors, with everything you could possible need!

We have heaps of space for parking, quiet street close to the beach, great family friendly location but also great for any group type. Its a perfect house for a perfect getaway!

There are board games, books, TVs and lots of nicknacks to play with and entertain each other. We have a quiet space with couches and hammocks plus a good sound system both indoor and outdoor for those who wish to party!

having worked in tourism for many years, our aim is to make you stay different to anywhere else, with an onsite host to help with anything you need. We can take you for adventures or suggest places to explore, we love this little town and know all its secrets!
