This is a beautiful home with plenty of room but still cosy, I had the perfect bed and we enjoyed an awesome view, peace and quiet, fresh cool air with all the luxuries we needed. The home is well kept and the family enjoyed tbe sauna and hot tub. I was impressed by the hosts warm welcome and down to earthiness. We really did not want to leave. We will book again but for longer next time.

This cosy get-away was perfect for my family! Being surrounded by trees and having a lovely view of the mountains, it really felt like we were away from everything, which is exactly what we wanted! Was also very close to town so very convenient. Would definitely stay here again.

We had the most amazing stay here! The views are absolutely breathtaking, making every morning feel magical. After a day exploring the mountains, relaxing in the hot sauna was pure bliss — the perfect way to warm up on a chilly Blue Mountains evening. The cosy fireplace added so much charm and made the nights feel wonderfully snug. This place has everything you could want for a relaxing and luxurious escape. Highly recommend!
Excellent location in a very quiet area with view towards Govetts leap. Large bedrooms with comfy beds. Two bathrooms is great. A little cold at night however we were there in the middle of Winter so to be expected!

My family and friends stayed here for a weekend in Blackheath while attending the UTA event in Katoomba. It was perfect and Kim was a lovely and accomodating host! We were very comfortable preparing by the fire and the beds were very cozy for tired bodies. The views are also amazing, wish we had more time to enjoy them. Next time!

Thanks Mark! I am so amazed with the UTA runners! We look forward to welcoming you anytime of the year 🩷
4 of us stayed here for a weekend away. The house is spacious and toasty warm, with all the essentials you need in the kitchen, bathroom and bedrooms. Views are spectacular from the deck and kitchen/dining area. So conveniently located to all the typical blue mountains attractions, and fabulous cafes just a few minutes drive from the house. We loved it.

We loved our recent stay at this older style home set in beautiful bushland. The property was clean, confortable and conveniently located a short drive from the great cafes, restaurants and shops at Blackheath village. The amazing view from the back verandah of Govett's Leap made this our favourite place for morning cups of tea and wine at dusk. The fireplace also made evenings very cosy. Kim was a great host - friendly and responsive.
Great location overlooking the mountains. Kim is great to work with. Could have been 5⭐ but for a few things. Great selection of wine and spirit glasses, but more everyday drinking glasses would help. Whilst really flexible sleep arrangements there is room to improve quality of a couple mattresses. Handled the cold well, but would suggest space heaters in each bedroom rather than the fan heaters (and perhaps electric blankets 😀).
All-in-all we had a great weekend with our grown up family. And would be happy to recommend this Stayz and would happily return.

Not what it seems
Booked for 4 adults ( Mum's weekend away) because the property had 4 rooms and we could each have our own room. When we arrived 2 rooms were locked including the ensuite. We contacted the owner who organised a cleaner to come and open the rooms . The only way she would do this is we paid for another extra 5 guests that did not exist. Because the house sleeps 9 the only way to use all bedrooms is to pay for 9 people regardless of how many people you have booked for. Very expensive, not worth the money.
