Warm and inviting Large Log Cabin , privately nestled in the Heart of Hockley Valley and situated across from the Nottawasaga River. Cabin Features 5 Bedroom’s and 4 bathrooms. Equipped with all season amenities, Hot Tub, waterfall pool, Large Bon Fire pit (wood supplied) BBQ, and propane provided , Close to many quaint restaurants , 1 minute drive to Hockley golf , ski , and Adamo Winery!! and walking distance for Hiking Bruce Trail system. As an extra plus for tennis enthusiasts , we can provide guest passes at our Mono tennis courts for your use. Home features a Massive stone fireplace floor to cathedral ceiling, original Pine plank floors, modern kitchen open concept, Large sun room, with large screen TV, and cozy game room pub. We have table tennis in the in the basement for added indoor fun !! We are available for winter 3-4 month rentals as well , please inquire if interested, as price will be per month. Dogs are Welcomed !

A True Treasure

This property and location is the perfect place to stay as gorgeous inside as it is out. We and our two dogs were more than comfortable and hope to return again soon.

PERFECT RETREAT

We couldn't have chosen a better place to have our women's retreat! Quiet but convenient location, spacious yet still cozy, chock full of amenities, cooks kitchen etc ample room to eat, gather, relax, or have personal space and even room to dance around and do yoga, etc. We only wish the weather was a bit better to enjoy more of the outdoor amenities. But what a great place to be on the few chilly days that we had up there. We would definitely book again. THX (to our very responsive) HOSTS!

Great weekend getaway

We really enjoyed the house, pool and hot tub. There was lots of space and the house has a great cottage feel. Will definitely be back.

Amazing host, amazing place

Kelly is very responsive and she goes above and beyond to make sure that everyone enjoys the stay. The place is absolutely gorgeous and well designed. We had an amazing time at this beautiful haven.

Great Pool, Nice House, Lots of Privacy

We were there for three weeks and it was a wonderful place to kick back and relax with family. Really nice pool oasis. Lots to do in the area and some great restaurants nearby. The hosts were nearby and available as needed.

Amazing Relaxing Getaway

We have been lucky enough to enjoy this cottage twice this summer and both times we did not want to leave. Kelly is a wonderful host and the location is everything it promised. We were very relaxed in this beautiful location and our kids loved the playtime in the pool.

Stunning Premier Location and Host

This location is absolutely beautiful and our Host was wonderful. We slept like babies in the plush beds and relaxed in the copious available cozy nooks and loungers. We have stayed at quite a few premier VRBO locations over the years and this one was one of our top locations for the beauty, the relaxation and the amazing Host.

Incredible stay - beautiful property

The Hockley house exceed our expectations - the attention to detail was amazing, they truly thought of everything. Six of us stayed comfortably and our only complaint was that we didn’t stay longer. Kelly was an amazing host and there is so much to love about this property - the yard is immaculate and the home itself is beautiful and spacious. 10/10

Family Gathering

Our three generation family were all delighted with our stay. It was so comfortable and well appointed and the hosts responded promptly to all questions and needs. The cottage and property is beautiful and comfortable and welcoming. The pool retreat provided so much fun and entertainment.Definitely a ten out of ten . We enjoyed our family gathering immensely and hope to visit again in the future.

Great Family Day Weekend

The property exceeded expectations in every way and was the perfect weekend getaway spot for our family of 8 adults and one toddler. We took full advantage of the three large gathering areas and also the extras which were totally set up for us including a hot tub and large fire pit area. We also found very good trails and dining nearby and the hostess was very responsive and helpful throughout the weekend. Highly recommend this property.

Wedding party!

I got married close by and rented this house for myself and my bridesmaids and it was the most beautiful property and house. It made for a stunning photo backdrop for my special day. Kelly was amazing. She keeps the house perfect, she had a beautiful card, charcuterie board, and Prosecco for us when we checked in and she was so lovely. Highly recommend!

An outstanding rental property in the region

We are a small group of seniors who enjoy taking a week long vacation together. After several years in the Niagara area, we decided to select the Orangeville area. Fortunately, we found the Hockley Hollow. This is an excellent rental property featuring a spacious 5 bedroom house, a beautiful pool area and many other amenities. The owners, Kelly and Greg were very responsive and attentive to our needs and requests. Highly recommended!

Wedding in Mono

We stayed in Kelly’s house for 3 nights and it was amazing. Beautiful property that is even better than the photos, lovely location and Kelly could not have been nicer. We have a few kids as well and they loved the pool and the downstairs play area. I recommend this property very highly.

The host Kelly and the property made our stay the most enjoyable one on our 26th friends anniversary

I can’t explain enough the beauty of this place with everything you need. No worries! Made the planning experience so easy. We ALL just kept saying can you believe its so perfect why would we want to go anywhere else but here next year. Another booking might be made soon. We used the pool, hot tub, played games, Restaurant, fire on last night, some hiked for 2 hours, even relaxed! There was not one thing that could have been any better.

Girls weekend

The photos do not do it justice! The house and property are absolutely amazing! Kelly did not miss a single detail and stocked the house with everything we could ever need. The house was so cozy and the pool area was like our own private oasis. We would definitely come back!

Cozy Christmas

Our family stayed for a week over Christmas and had a magical time. The cottage looked very festive and we immediately felt at home; everything was easy, comfortable and familiar. There’s plenty of living space (we made the most of the different areas) and bedrooms (the main bedroom is on a semi-open mezzanine but that worked for us as a family) and we enjoyed getting to use the outdoor firepit and hot tub. We had a nice meal out at a local winery and a beautiful hike along the Bruce trail. We hope to be back one day!

Truly a Hidden Treasure ******

Booked this property to get away from the city and celebrate a Birthday with some friends and family. Lounging by the pool, preparing great food/drinks and just spending time relaxing. The property was beyond any thing we could have expected. Gorgeous out door pool area, incredible kitchen and lots of room for connecting. Our hosts were super attentive and helped us quickly get settled. Checking in and checking out was a breeze. The property was super secluded which added to the relaxation. We have already carved out time next year to do it all over again. A++++ Thanks again to our gracious hosts!

Great Summer House for Family

3 siblings with 6 kids between 4 and 22 stayed at this lovely home in Hockley for about 1 week. We were attending a family wedding in the area and this house was perfect for us. Everyone loved the landscaping and thoughtful spacing of the outdoor areas - pool, side garden, back garden. The home is cozy and ideal for families. 5 BRs with Queen or King beds suited everyone. Plenty of games, books, lounging spaces and even a ping pong table to keep everyone entertained. We had a great stay and Kelly was a gracious host. She attended to our questions and check in and check out was a breeze. Kelly was very accommodating. Would highly recommend for families and groups of friends looking to explore some of the farms and nature trails in the area.

Intuit Remote Tax staff “In Person” Sync up

We work remotely from our homes doing Personal taxes, January till May, each year. We meet in person on Victoria Day weekend …this was our 3rd sync up …NFalls and Montreal… were the first 2 The property was better than the pictures…pictures cannot describe how comfortable you can get with the sound of the stream in the morning, and the crackle of a fire at night …we will , should you accept, be reserving same weekend next year … Place is a treasure Host was a pleasure

Incredible property!

This is a fantastic property, the pictures do not prepare you for how lovely it is!We stayed for a weekend golfing trip and everyone was in awe of the property. The pool and grounds are beautiful and there were lots of lawn games and pool floats to use. The house itself is spacious and so so charming! Everything was neat and clean, the bathrooms were gleaming and the kitchen has everything you need. The kitchen, dining, living area is open so everyone can be together. We had some rain one afternoon so we loved that there are 2 living room spaces to spread out and lounge or play games (generously provided by the host). Kelly is a fantastic host, so friendly and always responds promptly. We would absolutely love to stay here again, keeping our fingers crossed we can snag it for our next summer trip.

Perfect!

From the moment we walked through the door, we felt welcome and at home with everything we needed to make our stay as easy and as luxurious as possible. The property is not only beautiful, private and large but fascinating and historical. It took us a while to explore and see everything the house had to offer. Kelly, the owner, was very kind and responsive. She supplied a fully equipped kitchen, ingredient staples for cooking and numerous ways to make that vital cup of morning coffee. Overall, the description is quite accurate and there were many places to sit, eat, talk, do yoga, watch tv and have private quiet space. Every room was clean and interesting, with cozy places to snuggle and bright spaces to share drinks and music. The beds were all comfortable and made up with fresh high quality bedding. We were there in June and the gardens and exquisite pool area were beautiful with plenty of space for everyone. I imagine this property would also be wonderful in the fall and winter. We had games for outdoors and indoors, including a ping pong table and plenty of books and puzzles to choose from. We were sad to leave such a fantastic space where we had nothing to worry about except spending time together as a family and making memories. Thank you, Kelly. We'll be back!

The Perfect Getaway

Prior to our arrival, our host was prompt and polite in answering all of our questions. Then as soon as we drove up the driveway and saw the property, we knew it was going to be great. The house is amazing, both welcoming and spacious. There are plenty of spots to gather as a family or tuck yourself away to read a book or enjoy some wine. The large windows and skylights let in plenty of natural light allowing you to still feel connected to outside, even though you are perfectly cooled in the air conditioning. The kitchen is both large and well stocked. The extra sink on the island made for the perfect prepping area. Don’t worry if you forgot some mustard or jam, our host made sure there were some essential items in the fridge! And oh that Nespresso coffee, so delicious. The grounds are beautiful; a manicured lawn surrounded by a plethora of trees and flowers. The salt water pool was a true delight, so refreshing. The pool consists of a grassy area, perfect for our dog to run off leash, then a patio area with some chaise lounges and a two seater couch. The pool house had a ‘beer fridge’ to keep our refreshments cold. We didn’t use them but I did see a bocce ball and badminton set in the pool house as well. We enjoyed a fire and thank you to our host for providing some matches and kindling. When it was time for bed, our heads rested in a comfy king size bed with plush linens. Hockley valley cottage

Our hockley valley winter getaway was lovely. The cottage was clean, charming and cozy. The host even welcomed our pups ! Every room was well equipped and our linens and towels were fresh. Our family enjoyed the hot tub and outdoor space. Ski was minutes away. We highly recommend and will be back ;) Thank you so much for being such a great host!
