NEW Sit back and relax at this cozy, family friendly lakeside cottage, just steps from the entrance to Point Pelee National Park. Enjoy relaxing with friends or family over a local glass of wine or craft beer, sunbathing, sitting on the beach, grilling on the Napoleon natural gas BBQ, watching beautiful sunrises and sunsets from the expansive deck.
Have a swim in the lake or build a sandcastle on the beach. This home is newly renovated (2021) and includes two bedrooms with queen sized beds and a double pull out sofa. On rainy days, you can watch a movie on the Smart TV, play a board game or borrow a book from the bin. There are dozens of local wineries and craft breweries within a 25 km radius with many offering fantastic food for brunch, lunch or dinner! Erie Shores golf course is a 5 minute drive away.
So whether it’s a family holiday, couples weekend, a friends weekend, a girls weekend or a weekend of golf, this is the spot for you! After a long day, come back, sit on the spacious deck and enjoy the sunset, relax or take a nap. If you still have some energy, take a dip in the lake to cool off or just take a stroll down the beach and search for beach glass. Take a couple of Muskoka chairs down to the beach and dip your feet in the lake while you watch the fabulous sunsets over Lake Erie.

Great communication

Excellent relaxing place. Hosts were very accommodating even bringing a cooler with ice due to power outage. Lovely neighborhood. Town of leamington is fascinating.

The cottage was wonderful. Tina and Lee have thought of everything! Everything we needed was there, and the place was cosy and bright and absolutely beautiful. The sound of the waves was very soothing. I can't say enough good things about this rental!! As well, Tina and Lee were available and able to make recommendations. The park pass was a huge plus!! We definitely plan to return.

Slice of Heaven!

The cottage was cute, exactly like the photos, and had everything anyone would need. Being right on the water, hearing it constantly, was salve for the soul! The proximity to the National Park and the included Park pass made this an ideal location. It’s perfect for a couple, a single or a small family. The hosts were responsive and lovely. Relaxing get away!

Perfect lake cottage for family of 4

Loved the lake cottage, only 5 min drive from Point Pelee National Park on a quiet lakeside road. Very clean and bright. We loved the big deck and private beach. Lee, the owner was quick to respond and very helpful. We had 2 adults and 2 small children, was the perfect size. The one bathroom is tiny but very functional.

You won’t be disappointed!!

This property is amazing! The pictures are just as described and the property is very clean. The outdoor space was incredible! Huge deck overlooking Lake Erie, natural gas BBQ, beautiful Sandy beach. Our teens found sea glass and enjoyed the swimming. Really appreciate the park pass that comes with the cottage—we visited Point Pelee National Park a couple of times during our stay. Very close to the port to catch the ferry to Pelee Island. Short drive to Leamington for groceries. Hoping to stay again during the bird migration! Thanks for the beautiful home away from home!

Quiet vacation

Spent a week relaxing in the rental by the water. Rental was nicer than expected, and no issues. Beach was less than expected due to high water, but not much can be done about that, so no complaints! Owners are lovely. Would recommend.

YOU WON'T REGRET IT.....

Three days and nights in this perfectly-sized, cute and cozy little cottage on the water was exactly what we needed to get lost and find ourselves at the same time. In the perfect location -- minutes from the entrance to the park, and a short drive to Leamington and any supplies we needed. The personal touches around the cottage -- from the well-supplied kitchen to the stocked medicine cabinet in the bathroom to the convenient use (included in the rental fee) of the pass to the park -- are what make the difference to people who recognize the care and love you put into caring for your guests. We have already recommended your cottage to several friends, including a couple looking for a place to mark an anniversary to several singles who simply just want a couple of nights away somewhere to relax and get away from the grind of the same thing every day.
