Très joli chalet champêtre avec une vue incroyable sur le lac. Endroit tanquille. Les hôtes sont très sympathiques, on a même pu visiter leur écurie. On a adoré notre séjour la seule petite chose négative est la douche qui sera rénové paraît-il ça va être parfait après. Je vous recommande cet endroit enchanteur.

Cet hébergement a vraiment un beau cachet ancien. 2 belles grandes chambres lit-double et une mezzanine avec 2 lits simples. Superbe galerie pour se détendre avec beaucoup d'oiseaux et une vue sur le petit lac. Chevaux à proximité. Jolie forêt feuillue en arrière du logement pour se promener. Logement idéal pour être avec mes chiens. Vraiment un très bel endroit pour se reposer et à proximité de Rawdon.

The property was incredibly clean and well kept.You can walk to the water in about 5 minutes and use of the boats and paddleboard was amazing. The water is a small lake that almost feels like a pond with the Lilly pads. The outdoor shower was a hit and we also enjoyed having an outdoor fire and star gazing. There are quite a lot of activities to do as a family in Rawdon. And it’s an adorable little town. We wish there was a couch or living room space to hangout but the outdoor seating area works well as long as the weather is nice!

We really enjoyed our stay. The patio deck was definitely the highlight, perfect for BBQs and catching the sunset at the end of the day.One thing to be aware of is the bathroom: the wood design is not practical, and the shower curtain doesn’t fully cover the area, so water tends to splash out quite a bit and it's impossible to adequately dry.Overall, a nice spot for the weekend with a great outdoor space.

Plaisir et déception

Bonne communication avec la proprio.Lits confortables.Belle vue du patio sur le lac.Cuisine: pas de four, seulement un four grille-pain qui brûle les aliments (voir photo de croissants).Salle de bain: bain sur pattes avec émail défraîchi (voir photo), difficile de prendre une douche à cause du rideau circulaire qui n'est pas étanche (voir photo).Plage: diffile de marcher sans mettre le pied dans les excréments d'animaux. Il y en avait partout. Dommage, pas de photo.
Rideau qui n'était pas étanche.
Émail de la baignoire abimé.
Croissants brûlés rapidement après le démarrage du four grille-pain, même si la température était bien réglée.

cute place, nice view.

All was fine. I just had issue with the strong smell of febreeze or glade or some freshener. I'm sensitive to it. Also, if you have mobility issues, please note there is a big step to eating area and another couple to deck. Cute place and very nice view, quiet, beds comfy. Was a fine stay.

Un très bon séjour au calme au Canada

Assez proche de Montréal, le logement est situé en bordure d’un lac, entièrement gelé en hiver et magnifique au début du printemps. L’accès a été simple, le logement très sympathique avec un petit côté Virgin River qui a beaucoup plus à ma femme. Tout l’équipement est ok rien à dire, sauf peut être la douche un poil peu pratique mais on s’en accommode.Wi-Fi ok pour internet et mail sans soucis. La ville de Rawdon à proximité offre tout le nécessaire (essence, supermarché, restaurant, ballades, chutes …)Encore merci

Scenic

We loved the chalet and Rawdon area, absolutely breath-taking!! Even in the chilly winter we never felt cold, (even in the bathroom ). Heaters in each room so you can adjust. The tub was a bit small for a good long soak. The woodstove was nice to use as well, but definitely wasn't needed for heat, just cozy ambiance. We loved spending time in the front room playing cards and puzzles, or would sit and read in the chairs with a lovely view. In the warmer weather sitting and enjoying the deck would be so peaceful. Only suggestion is to leave out a bucket of sand to help when its icy, it had been sanded a little on the driveway but we would have sanded the area by the door had it been handy, as it was slippery.Marie-Danielle is a lovely host, quickly answered all our questions. She invited us to meet the horses and had a lovely chat! There is so much to explore, unfortunately we didn't bring our snow shoes which I wish I had brought to enjoy walking our dog on the trails However, we loved walking him along the Scenic road so peaceful. Only issue, and admittedly its not an issue that most people worry about, and nothing Marie-Danielle did wrong. However, an increasing number of people are having very serious health issues with fragrances specifically laundry boosters and fabric softners, please consider using fragrance free laundry products. I would recommend visiting this beautiful Scenic Chalet to anyone considering.
