Walk to the lift at Timberline Mt. Welcome to Slope Side Delight!

Calling all skiers! Whether you are an expert or a novice, this is a wonderful location. It's a very short walk over to the lodge and lifts at Timberline Mountain. Enjoy the convenience of lunch breaks and naps by the fireplace as you warm up and prepare for just a few more runs! You will be close enough to the lodge to walk over for an evening beverage or meal. This is going to be a fun ski weekend! No need to drive. It is all right here! Feel like cooking? There's a full kitchen and outside a gas grill. Pack the steaks and burgers and enjoy a quiet evening in. Rest, relax and get ready so you can be first on the lift tomorrow! Want to explore a little? It is a short drive to Davis, Thomas, Blackwater Falls and Canaan Resort. Spring, summer and fall this fully equipped property is available for vacation or monthly rentals. Call for details.

Can’t beat the location

This condo was perfect for what we needed. It’s not luxurious, but you can’t beat the proximity to the slopes for a small group. It’s functional and tidy. The only complaint was the noisy heater/furnace. That being said, we’d rent it again.

Once a year skiers

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Everything was great, except warm weather. Skied 2 days with deteriorating slopes. Skipped the third day do to slush on the slopes. Still had a great time and enjoyed the ski in, ski out accommodations. Will be back next year, hopefully colder weather.

Great location but noisy

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location of this rental is very close to the Timberline ski mountain. Everything was fairly clean but not spotless and there were a few cleaning rags left out. The only real downside is you can hear everything going on in the apartments above you - kids running around, people putting their ski boots on, people vacuuming in the middle of the night, etc. One pro of it being on the first floor though is it’s easy to get to when you have all of your ski gear. It would be nice if there was a place to keep your ski gear outside so as not to track snow into the apartment.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great location, but unit needs to be updated. We have stayed in a different unit for the last several years and this one needs a little work. Great location, but time to invest some money. We had 4 people in the unit and could not all take showers within a normal span of time. Hot water heater is not sufficient for the number of people the unit is stated to hold. Pull out sofa bed was not clean at all and mattresses are worn out.

The only issue we had with the condo was the heat. It was very loud when it came on every 15 to 30 minutes so it was hard to sleep in the front bedroom:) We did let Best of Canaan know so they could check it out.

A Slope Side Delight

Great location, close (less than 500 feet) to the main lodge and ski lifts. Older condo with a very small kitchen (only one person fits) and small common area. Bedrooms and baths were adequate. Plenty of pots and pans and dishes, but could use additional utensils. Note: slight hint of sulfur in water. Literature at check-in mentioned this., so we purchased bottled water Management company was very responsive to questions and friendly too.
