The pictures do not do it justice. This place is fantastic. The hot tub is so nice to sit in and look at the stars at night. The river is right off the porch and you can watch white water rafters go by a few times a day.
We loved staying here for our family get together! It was perfect, so cozy, the private tub was ideal and being within walking distance to Belknap without being on property was the best!

Peaceful and beautiful!
This place is secluded, peaceful, clean and cozy! Hot spring tub is amazing.
We picked the hottest 2 days of the year. No air conditioning but the fan helped. The owners have not spent a penny on maintainence since we stayed 9 years ago. The deck is worn and needs staining, the outdoor chairs are worn out and the handrail leading to the front door is very dangerous. Housekeeping was poor. Dead bugs on the floor Having said all that. The string is amazing. Very relaxing. Hope to go back.

From the owner: "Hi Mike, I am glad you keep coming back. Here are the items that we have spent much more than a penny on: Added a dishwasher and plumbing to the dishwasher, added a washer and dryer, added a garbage disposal, added a new refrigerator and freezer, refinished the downstairs basement with a murphy bed, bar, chairs, kitchenette, big screen TV, added 2 windows, refrigerator/freezer, and cabinetry, refinished and stained the basement floor concrete, added a Nest thermostat, added a new grill, redid the entire house plumbing and electrical, refinished the upstairs ceiling with stained cedar tongue and groove, replaced the bedframe and mattress, all can lights replaced to LEDs, new fan in the bathroom, new shower heads on both showers, all tub plumbing replaced, added a bear secure trash area, replaced big ceramic pots on the deck, repaired all the drip irrigation, added low profile landscaping lights and removed the old broken ones everywhere. I hope you enjoyed your last time there!"
The location and property were incredible! The access to the resort without being part of the resort was convenient and nice. My two complaints are that the one fan in the whole place barely blows air and the drain in the hot springs tub was annoyingly loud. The drain was just a minor annoyance though.
We had a beautiful time and beat the heat on a hot 100F weekend. The soaking tub drains and fills relatively quickly so we emptied the hot and ran a cold soak which was so refreshing after the long drive. The next morning we ran some hot, for a warm soak. Loved it.

Perfect house
This was the perfect house and location to celebrate a birthday over a long weekend. Watching the river, enjoying the hot springs, river rafting, hiking and biking the McKenzie Trail, and strolling the grounds of Belknap Hot Springs. The house is beautifully designed to maximize river views. House has a TV with large DVD collection and streaming services, also has lots of games and books. Lovely kitchen with supplies and Chemex. Perfect size for 2 people
Secluded property. River close by. Lots of trees, not much sun right at the house. Comfortable bed, nicely furnished kitchen and bathroom. Being almost seventy I could have used a more comfortable living room chair. Wi-Fi and cell spotty. Enjoyed the whiskey barrel hot tub filled with hot springs water. Easy to get in and out of. The bathrobes and big towels were nice.

It was so needed!
We really needed this outing after having so much stress last year. We started the new year here and the tub, the forest, the river, the cottage with geothermally heated floors!!!!! All helped so much!!!!! We made a few videos for our YouTube channel @TravelingLeons. We will be adding more. We are so thankful for the experience and all the stuff there is to do in the area even if raining non stop. I went hiking to Koosah and Sahalie Falls and that was gorgeous. Up there the rain is nothing really! Just use a rain jacket and waterproof hiking shoes and explore the enchanted forest and all cool mushrooms even in winter! Anyways, this place is so worth it! We highly recommend! Beds were super comfortable too and so we're the pillows!

Nice Place, But Non-Functioning WiFi Truly Marred Our Stay
Property was lovely, great location, but the owner's WiFi did not work. Because cellular service is non-existent in the area, this was a big negative - I was unable to check in on work emails, plan outings, there was no television, etc. I managed to advise the property manager immediately upon arrival on day one of our stay (a nearby local resort had mercy on us and were kind enough to let us mooch their WiFi in order to do so), and the property manager claimed that they tried to get the WiFi working via a modem reset (the modem is not accessible to guests), but it did not work, and we had no WiFi for the entirety of our stay. No word from the owner re: compensation for the hassle. I understand that stuff happens, but this was a pretty expensive stay, the lack of WiFi as advertised is unacceptable, and created many hassles during our stay.
