Cheap.
No aircon. No wifi. Location map was deceitful as it showed the location was in Kirra, Ad said heart of Coolangatta which was right beside the Coolangatta hotel. Loud music late into the night. No soundproofing. Drunk people outside the building.. windows rattling in the wind. Also. 9am checkout time to top it all off. Then you have to drive to another location to drop the keys.. cheap for a reason

Needs a serious tidy up
We had a great stay - location location location
But this apartment is tired. Very tired and way overdue for an upgrade/clean up.
It’s 2024 and there’s no aircon or wi-fi. Surely these days that’s a minimum expectation
The apartment is grubby. It needs a paint throughout and the carpet is tired.
Paint flaking off walls and doors, scratches and scrapes that just need to be tidied up.
No towel hanging rails in the bathrooms. Where do you hang your towels to dry? Obviously over the top of the pedestal fan in the bedroom?
No spare toilet rolls in either toilet. Minor issue but really?
Bathrooms are so dated and grubby it’s almost embarrassing. Grout in desperate need of a clean. Just grubby.
We had the rental for 9 nights and no clean towels delivered or left in the apartment. Grubby.
The kitchen was well stocked with equipment. But no basic cooking ingredients like oil, salt, pepper, sugar, coffee or tea. I understand it’s an apartment rental but it’s 2024 - your competition does this much better.
Despite the brilliant location I couldn’t recommend this property or go back again until it had a significant overhaul and clean up.
Did I mention the apartment was grubby and needed a paint and a clean?

We do wish that you had of let us know your concerns after you checked in so we could have had a chance to address them, and rectify any issues.
We encourage all of our guests to contact our office at any time during their stay if anything is not as it should be.
As you have booked short term holiday rental, and not a serviced apartment, you will only be provided certain essentials for the first night or two of your stay.
RBR Holidays have taken on board your review and will look further into the items you have listed.
We do have many other properties on our books, so please feel free to take a look at those to see if there is something more suitable for future stays.
