Your family will make many memories of the Outer Banks at this lovely home!

Great location!

We loved the location of the property and the walkable access to town and the beach. The house was not precious and perfect for our group of teens. It could def do with an upgrade but was exactly as photographed.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Place was great for our whole family to gather and spend time together. Location was the best. We easily walked to town for dinner and ice cream.Would definitely stay there again.

Salty Quaker

Big group of 12 stayed for Fourth of July week and very much enjoyed our time together. Living room, closed in porch and back open deck with big table were awesome. Having to go through bedrooms to access upstairs bathrooms was a little odd, but we worked it out. Great stay all in all.

I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our family ( 6 adults and 4 teenagers) recently rented the Salty Quacker in Duck, NC. We felt the residence is as described and we enjoyed the layout. The open concept was great for hanging out together and everyone had plenty of room to find their own space when needed. Despite being a bit dated, the house had all amenities needed for a weeks stay and we felt like we were home. We were however a bit disappointed at the lack of basketball hoops and court as was advertised , part of our decision to stay here was the fact that our kids could play basketball all week which was not possible. They also could upgrade with some larger toilets, the small bases can be challenging at times. All in all it was a great week and we all enjoyed our stay.

Good times for a wide variety of family members

The variety of spaces in the house offered us the opportunity to spread out, engage differently at times and gather together other times. The activities of beaches and pool, and near by shopping were very conveinient.
