Thevine house is amazing. Stocked with everything you need, coolers, reusable shopping bags, life jackets, snorkel gear, cookware, utensils, starfruit trees, coconut trees, laundry and dish detergent, kayaks, among many other things. We left some beach balls and floats for future guests to enjoy. Hosts and house caretaker are and were very responsive. Five stars without a doubt.

House with Everything You Need and a Beautiful View

We loved our stay at Thevine House. We loved how we had a place to dock a boat, a place to swim and kayak/paddleboard, and a place to relax. Any questions we had were quickly addressed. We would stay there again. Beautiful property.

Thevine House is AMAZING... the home was well furnished inside and out, the location is gorgeous, and the gardens/outdoor spaces at Thevine House are beautiful! The only thing we wanted for during our stay was to stay longer.

This house was perfect for our family of 4. We have been to exuma 8 times and this was our favorite house. The view is by far the best view in exuma we’ve ever seen. We loved that it had a dock so we could rent a boat for a few days and have it to go exploring other islands and sand bars. The house is very clean. It had everything we needed. We saw a couple turtles, sting rays, dolphins, and even a nurse shark. The location was great. Only 15 minutes to day and 5-15 minutes away from other popular beaches and restaurants. We highly recommend this house and we cannot wait to come back.

A week in paradise

We had an amazing week at Thevine House. This was our first time in Exuma and we will definitely be back. Communication with Nathalie was great and we really appreciated all the information she sent us well in advance of our trip to help us have a smooth visit and plan activities. The location was perfect with a gorgeous view. The house was spotless, stocked with everything we could possibly need, and we enjoyed using the paddleboard and kayaks to explore the water and nearby Moriah Cay Park beaches. We spent lots of time in the pool, lounging on the chairs in the sand, and relaxing while staring at the water from the porches. We wouldn’t change a thing!

Fabulous Home!

The perfect home for an Exuma visit! Nathalie and her husband and crew were wonderful hosts. They happened to be in Exuma while we were there in their second property next door, and we had the pleasure of meeting them when we arrived. We rented a boat from Drex Rolle for 4 days and he was a wealth of local knowledge. We are boaters, but the 4 tides per day and the shallow waters in places, can be a challenge if you are not informed. He also provided a brief boat tour at the beginning of our boat rental that explained the local areas near the house. The location of the house is perfect - outside of Georgetown but only a short car ride away. The property feels lush and private with the most beautiful view. Exuma Water Sports took some of our party on an all day tour to the northern potion of Exuma and they thoroughly enjoyed it! Another must do while there is the Hydrobike tour (2 hrs) with Daran at Hydro Watersports, to see the mangroves of Moriah Cay and the Lazy River! It was a great fun! The house was perfect for our group of 6 adults and had all the latest appliances and very well thought out with everything you could want for your stay. Porches and outdoor spaces everywhere! Pool was heated to 84 degrees - just warm enough and was a lovely place to end the day. It is a very well cared for property! The best we have stayed in - anywhere. Thank you, Nathalie and Yvon for sharing your beautiful home with us for the week. We hope to be able to return!

Best location of all!

We’ve been to Great Exuma many times, but this was our first staying in Hartswell. The proximity to Moriah Harbour, accessible by kayaks and SUPs, makes it the ideal spot. Highly recommend renting a boat while at Thevine House as it allows for easy access to the best beaches in Moriah, Man O War, and Stocking Island. The house was fantastic in every way and we will definitely be returning!

Great stay!

We had a great time and loved our stay at Thevine House. The host was communicative, and the house was spotless when we arrived. All of our questions were answered promptly by Desreen, and she came immediately to help when the water wasn’t working at one point. Would definitely recommend staying here!

Fourth Stay - Just As Great

This was our 4th stay in one of Nathalie and Yvon's two properties (2nd in Thevine 1 and 2 prior stays in Thevine 2 next door). Thevine 1 was still just as dreamy as our prior stay about two years ago. A new smart TV was added downstairs in the pool table room in 2023 and the beds are even better - everyone slept great! We spent the majority of our time outside in the glorious outdoor spaces and the pool. Great location for exploring both Great and Little Exuma. We brought our 70+ parents with us this time and they navigated the house fine. Such a great spot for families to spend time together. The hosts could not be better and have thought of every single detail! We will be back again soon!

Heaven on earth

This was our third stay at Thevine House. My only complaint is that I wished we stayed longer! The location and the property are perfect. We love having the dock and the pool. Close enough to the things we love to do and far enough from downtown to feel like you are secluded. Can’t wait to go back!

Thevine So Fine!

This home and property was incredible! And the location was absolutely perfect. We used the kayaks to paddle across Moriah Harbour to quiet inlets and pristine beaches and one day to the Lazy River. Exuma has the most beautiful turquoise waters we have ever seen. We drove to Forbes Hill Beach one afternoon, what a treat! Mrs Desreen Burrows was wonderful and had the refrigerator stocked upon our arrival and gave us a full orientation of the property. Nathalie was so friendly and helpful providing detailed information and answering all our questions. She even let us borrow her personal beach chairs. Yvon gave me a ride on his boat to show the Moriah Harbour coves, inlets, and navigation route through the shallows to Elizabeth Harbour. This was very helpful as I rented a boat from Island Exclusive Boat Rentals (they delivered it directly to Thevine House dock). Coming from NY we desperately needed to unwind. Exuma and Thevine House was sooo Fine for a Chill Vacay!

Best Rental on the island

Our family of 4 had the most wonderful vacation at Thevine house. Everything went smooth from check in to check out. The homeowners and caretaker Mrs Burrows go above and beyond to make sure you have a wonderful stay. Mrs Burrows had groceries waiting for us when we arrived. She was even sweet enough to order and deliver a birthday cake for my daughter’s 10th birthday. The house is just perfect. It has comfortable beds, plenty of bath and beach towels, snorkeling gear, floats for the pool, spices, hooks in the right places, books for kids and adults, games, kayaks, and a pool table. We were able to snorkel and kayak right out front of the house and also had many sightings from the local sea turtle. Our only problem was our visit wasn’t long enough. We can’t wait to come back.

Awesome vacation destination

The owners and home are the best! The home is so beautiful and has everything you could possibly need. There is no detail that has been left out. The home is stunning. We had the best week. The location is a short kayak or paddle board to your own private beach, Moriah Harbour Park. My daughter and her friend loved hanging by the pool and beach in the backyard of the house. This home and location are stunning! Do not hesitate to book this home. My favorite Vrbo experience❤️.
