Beach Family Retreat

Step into a piece of history with our charming, detached villa, built around 1900, just off Jetty Road. Enjoy the convenience of strolling to local shops and restaurants. Each room boasts high ceilings, ornate cornices, and skirting, creating elegantly proportioned spaces.

This 5-bedroom holiday home offers diverse bed sizes to accommodate various needs. The main bedroom features a king bed, three bedrooms with queen beds, and the fifth with two single beds for kids. Two bathrooms complete the property. The property is also equipped with a portacot.

The fully equipped kitchen showcases a large 900mm Smeg oven and cooktop, complemented by a separate formal dining room. The lounge room, with plantation shutters and a beautiful ceiling rose pendant, offers a comfortable space with a work area, Wi-Fi, and ample natural light.

A spacious laundry at the rear and a family playroom provides practicality and a play haven for kids. The new entertainment area at the back, bathed in the morning sun, overlooks the garden. Equipped with a dining table, large Weber BBQ, and an outside shower to rinse off after a day at the beach, it's an ideal space to relax and unwind. The illuminated area enhances the ambiance at night.

Everything was as presented in the online description. It was great having the area of lawn and the secure parking in the backyard for two cars. It has several cafes and restaurants within a few minutes walking. The beach is easy walk away. Kitchen,bathrooms and laundry were excellent. Would happily go back on our next visit to Adelaide.

Excellent location

Travelling with 4 adults and three children under 10 this property gave us ample space and excellent facilities all in very close proximity to the picturesque jetty road.

Big home in a great location

This is a lovely huge old house in a great location. Very close walk to restaurants, tram stops and all that Jetty Rd has to offer. Would definitely stay again.

Girls weekend

Great house, plenty of room for a girls weekend. Location is perfect close to all shops and restaurants,. It is the second time we have stayed at this house and would thoroughly recommend it.

Perfect Location

The house was perfectly located right next to the Main Street in Glenelg and allowed us to walk anywhere we wanted to go. The house itself was clean, spacious and well equipped. We had a great holiday!

Family holiday

A lovely welcoming house! Instant relaxation. Well set up with lots of room for everyone. Walking distance to the beach, playgrounds, cafes and restaurants. A wonderful base for a terrific family get ttogether.

Lovely place. Well equipped. Near shops and beach. Extra bonus our little dog was welcome too. He loved it and the walks as well. Good to have a big house to fit us all in.

Easy check in. The property was ideal, clean, plenty of room, and had all the necessary amenities. Easy walking distance to shops, the beach and transport to the city. Highly recommended

Excellent location, spotless and warm.

Totally appropriate for our needs, warm, clean and comfortable beds and good to come home to sleep, but wouldn't want to spend all day there - very dark. Some issues with showers and safety of gate during storm - tried to send information to host but log in process made it impossible.

It is an old house so there are some quirky features and the decor choices were interesting. But it is comfortable and the location is hard to beat.

Partridge house

Was by far the best house we stayed in. we a couple issues. We could not seem to get the wi fi working. The bad part of that was we were doing administration stuff. The good thing the kids actually played outside and not watched tv or played with computer games. We took the kids on the tram which was in walking distance, being kids from a remote area that does not have public transport was cery exciting for them. None of the children had ever been on a tram before. The house was very large.it waa beautiful . and airy even on the hottest day. The main issue was that one of the bedrooms wasnt aircondifioned so we needed fans. We enjoyed eating out side and the kids enjoyed the freedom of having areas to play, plWehlawnanplayarea.

We found location and keys easily. The beds were really comfortable and we couldn't hear any traffic noise. Location is perfect, walked everywhere. Would love to stay longer, maybe another time.
