Pool sucked/host did nothing about it

When we booked our stay the pool and the jacuzzi were a big part of it The first 3 days we had no heat in the pool which I paid over 200 for The whole week the filter of the pool was not working We could see all the other pools around us being filtered but every morning we had dirt in the pool and jacuzzi from no filtering I called the host and sent pictures to him and nothing was done I would not rent a house where he was the host again I was very disappointed

Lovely villa, poor communication

When we first arrived at the property we were super impressed, it really is a beautiful home. The children loved their Disney and Star Wars themed rooms and all the games in the garage. We all loved cuddling up on the sofa in the cinema room to watch a movie together. The problems started when we had to report a couple of issues (fridge not working properly and whirlpool emptying into the main pool, it basically took to much time and effort to get something thing done about them, not something you want whilst on vacation. When the handyman arrived to fix them, he left a note saying he had fixed the fridge (he had) and had sorted out the pool heating, so we had paid for something that hadn’t been working and to this day (we arrived home a week ago), we have had no contact in respect of my query asking for confirmation that the pool heating hadn’t been working (so we would expect a refund). Finally, the day after the guy had come out to fix the pool, the whirlpool emptied again and was still like that when we left despite us reporting the fact. So in conclusion, a beautiful villa but just hope that nothing goes wrong during your stay!!

Ripped off

First of all didn’t get our deposit back even though I think it was cleaner than we found it. Had to pay use the grill. Grill didn’t work. Wouldn’t even ignite. Wouldn’t reimburse the grill use charge. Then paid for heating in the pool. Went to property manager to complain that once they turned it on, the hot tub would drain, and the jets would over heat. Couldn’t even use it. The staff at the gate are absolutely rude. They hate their jobs. Not helpful in any way. Did not communicate that everyone that is 18 or older must provide a license and be on the guest list. The community itself became dirty and looked like a parking lot at Walmart on a Saturday morning. Full of vehicles parked on the street, yards, and jammed in to the smallest areas making it difficult to maneuver thru the streets.

Beautiful property, Broken items

Pros: The house and outdoor area is just as it appears in the photos; clean and gorgeous. Property management company was very nice and responsive. Comfortable living room furniture and tons of space. Storage everywhere and the kitchen was well stocked (blender, waffle maker, george foreman grill, pots, pans, etc.). Beautiful and comfortable theater area, each bedroom has a private bath and shower. Cons: First floor bed was extremely firm and uncomfortable. Hot tub was the same temp as the pool. Air hockey and basketball games didn't work. Dryer hose was not attached so we had to do that. Hot water was turned off in the laundry room and kitchen island so we had to troubleshoot after many unsuccessful attempts at doing laundry. Outdoor garbage can was 1/2 full from previous guests who evidently didnt bag their trash; this limited us to how much trash we could place in the bin. No pool floats provided. Houses are very close together so when others are outside early or late, you hear everything. Screen was out of the window upstairs, luckily we weren't using that bedroom. Conclusion: For our next trip we would look in the same complex but likely for a different property.
