Our stay was fantastic it has a great home feel and the outdoor areas to enjoy was wonderful the area is nice and quiet the neighbors are friendly and kind would recommend and enjoy again in the future
We booked it to take our grand children away for few days. The place was amazing. Bonus of a public playground across the road the children could use. We took their 2 dogs which they enjoyed the water as well immensely. Hostess was quick to get back with answers for any questions we had.
The Little Riverside was exceptionally clean, and well a appointed and the kitchen included anything you may need. Beds were very comfortable as well.
Access was easy and the location is quiet with very little traffic. The two different outdoor seating areas were lovely, and enjoyed every day. Mike met us on arrival, and gave us the details, and has a great sense of humour! Everyone was friendly and the hosts responded very quickly when information was needed.
We had a flood in our BNB which we booked back in February. Thankfully this cottage was available to cover part of our stay. The kids enjoyed the location and we were so grateful for enough beds for everyone to stretch out at night (myself with 3 kids, one being a teenager)! The hosts and neighbours were welcoming and kind. Would happily return if we are in the area again. Definitely quiet and peaceful pace of life where you can relax. Gas BBQ was easy to use. Kitchen was stocked. Linens were of great quality and clean.
Spouse, daughter and I had a great time at the cottage. The photos didn’t do it justice at all. They clearly did some updates since the photos were posted. Clean, cozy, warm, inviting, so many options for patio seating on the property, and a nice walk to the water was perfect for our 2yr old to get some energy out. Kris was quick to respond to any of our questions and Mike was so welcoming while on property. Was a great experience and definitely will come back.
We stayed here during our white water rafting trip. The place is quiet, exceptionally clean and had everything we needed. The host was so responsive and responded to me within minutes of asking a question. The host also suggested some great places to eat. We enjoyed Milanos Pizza and River Barn restaurant after our trip with Wilderness tours. We have small children and there is a little park directly across the street. The water was cold in June, but the kids went swimming anyway. Highly recommend.

Hi Manon
We are sorry you did not enjoy your stay with us. Firstly, LaPasse is a small town located along the Ottawa River with many beautiful places around, many of which are listed in our guide book. It seems as though you may have overlooked your welcome emails. This is a self serve unit, we provide enough to get you started but you are required to bring your own amenities. The 2 rolls of toilet paper provided should have been enough to get you started and was never intended to last you for 6 days, but we are sorry you feel otherwise. Again with it being a self serve unit, Kleenex is not something we typically stock. Our apologies for what you deemed unacceptable in regards to the cleanliness of the BBQ and the walls - this is the first time anyone has complained about this, we have had countless glowing reviews about the cleanliness of our cottage, and our cleaners take pride in their work. We do wish you would have reached out to us regarding the humidity and the screen door. These are both easy fixes and we would have had our property manager take care of it immediately. We do apologize about the exterior wood burning fireplace. We had some landscaping done and there was a miscommunication between us and the lawn maintenance personnel as to when it was ok to be walked on again. We didn’t want to bother you with this small matter as you had informed us a few days before your arrival that you would be coming late due to a personal matter. It was our intention to have the area reopened for you to enjoy. You also had the option of the propane fire bowl. Again, we wish you had communicated this to us as we would of made it right.
We do apologize that our cottage was not up to your standards.
