The house and location was absolutely stunning. The hosts were friendly and informative. The pool was beautiful as well.

Fabulous family vacation

Coconut Blue was a wonderful place to stay while we were holidaying in Cairns. Close to Plam Cove beach and restaurants. Very relaxing. Highly recommend

Great place

Good place, pretty private and as quiet as can be expected in a tourist destination.Manager was responsive and great to deal with. They take pride in the place and is regularly service by pool guy and gardener etc. We stayed for 28 days and were very comfortable. Undercover Off street parking was handy as well. Would reccomend and stay again.

Central location, a well stocked, comfy home

I agree with other reviewers; it is a noisy spot, from the road, nearby construction & neighbours, but a very central location, close to everything. A great pool and a well stocked home with a comfy beds and a good kitchen to cook in.

Thank you for your feedback Taya. We are so glad you generally enjoyed your stay as per your seperate email to us. We are certainly located very centrally in Palm Cove. Because it is so beautiful it is a very busy holiday destination and so sometimes unfortunately there can be some noise. We were there ourselves for 6 months last year and rarely on 2 or 3 occasions had some noisy neighbours in other holiday homes nearby. There is 1 house across the road in its final stages of redevelopment. It should be finished this month. We do apologise if any of this effected your experience at our place and at Palm Cove.

Great Property!

Very enjoyable stay at a perfect property. Was very comfortable, clean and spacious. Loved the outdoor entertaining area and pool. Peter (host) was very accommodating and generous with his time as well as his Property Manager - Allan. Highly recommend!

Tropical get away

Great bungalow walking distance to beach and restaurants. Busier traffic than expected. Outside patio, dining area, pool and main bedroom outside shower are very enjoyable highlights. A/c very good. Well equipped. Would come back anytime.

A tropical relaxed stay!

Lovely home, comfortable beds, loved the outdoor shower, plenty of room in the living areas, well stocked kitchen, great air cons and lots of ceiling fans, well equipped laundry, the pool & ent areas were absolute bliss, very warm pool water, great location not far from the Tavern which served the best meals and had large tv screens, close to the beach front, good parking room for cars, we loved our stay here, would love to come back, great communication from the property manager and hosts. Ultimate relaxation with your own pool away from the tourists and resorts - perfect!! Noise wasnt an issue for us at all. Loved our stay!

Privacy plus.

Well equipped, very safe and private courtyard and pool area. Close to beach and cafes. Downside was being not restful due to constant traffic noise, very noisy, drunken neighbours up till 3 AM on several nights. Palm Cove cafes and restaurants, in general, do not cater well for Vegans.

Palm Cove Hideaway

A fairly well stocked kitchen in regards to cooking equipment, and generous fridge freezer too. Rooms were comfortable, and very large generous walk- in main bathroom, handy for our elderly Dad's visit . Lovely outdoor spaces which were mostly great, despite the rain which helped to block the traffic noise at times. I'm spoilt as I live in a fairly quiet street in Perth so noticed it a bit more than others probably would. (Perhaps review the age of the rollout shade cloth near the outdoor table, as struggled to cope with all the heavy rain; also name labels on lounge light switches and pool area would be helpful for working out which is fan, or light, indoor or out? Couldn't get the BBQ to work either but didn't bother the host re this) . Local bus handy to catch as well. Thanks again, the pool was wonderfully refreshing, even in the rain. Perfect in so many ways

My wife and I stayed at this place for seven nights and thoroughly enjoyed it in so many ways. The house is exceptionally well equipped and laid out perfectly for a couple or a small group. The tropical courtyard off the main bedroom contains a fabulous outdoor shower, which is very private and romantic. The weather in Palm Cove is perfect for showering outdoors. The second bathroom also has a huge shower area. The kitchen is well equipped, featuring all the utensils you would need and a coffee machine or Bodum to make that perfect cup of coffee. The private swimming pool is fantastic and has a great outdoor area attached for lounging around. Two different gas BBQs are available for use for cooking, and a large outdoor table for eating outdoors and relaxing on those balmy nights. The front yard or pool area felt very private and secluded, never felt like people could see us. The lounge room has extremely comfortable chairs and large screen TV to keep up with your favourite sports. High-speed Wi-Fi is also available and will accommodate multiple devices easily. The Laundry is equipped with a washing machine and dryer, so there is no need to bring too many clothes. Lots of towels are freely available in the bathrooms and for use around the pool. After being out sightseeing some of the day, we always looked forward to coming back to laze around in the pool. It felt like we had our own private paradise. We would definitely do it again.
