Your review is disappointing as we always strive to achieve 5-stars. As outlined in both the rental agreement and pre-arrival email, we provide a starter set of supplies so guests can get settled, with additional items being the guest’s responsibility. This is standard for vacation rentals in our market; this is a self-catering home. We share this information in advance to ensure there are no surprises. Regarding the pool door, this is designed to remain closed for both safety and liability reasons and to protect the home’s AC system. Moreover, in Florida’s heat and humidity, leaving doors open can quickly impact cooling and cause significant strain on the system. This home is consistently rated as one of the top-loved properties in the area based on guest feedback, so it’s unfortunate that these items, which were well communicated before your stay, impacted your experience more than the overall stay.
