Woodruff Cabin
We had a great time at the cabin. It has a very nice layout that met our families needs, spacious yard, access to towns, lots of wildlife, and dock area. Our family would be interested in booking it again in the future!
Nice size cabin, very clean, great having washer/dryer and air conditioning. Close to trails for riding and was nice walking down to dock for a little fishing and enjoying the view of the lake. Very quiet area which we loved, saw lots of wildlife, yet not too far from restaurants and stores. Would love to come back some year.
We had a great time Family vacation, we had members aged 2 to the 70's. The home was beautiful and very well equpped. Homey! We went fishing, swimming, kayakung, and some of the many attrctions around Minoqua. Would definitely recommend a stay here. Host was awesoome.
The house was beautifully redone and totally updated. It was very clean and everything was well stocked. I found I packed so many things that they had already thought of and included in the home. The lake was absolutely gorgeous and very quiet and relaxing. While we did encounter minor plumbing issues, the owners were very prompt and courteous in their responses to assist in a resolution to our satisfaction.Overall, a great experience and loved the area.

Wonderful Place and Town
My family of 7 adults, 1 child, and 2 dogs had a great time here. Such a perfect area to stay in. There's an absolutely awesome zoo not too far away that I highly recommend going to, and a meat store nearby that has anything you could want for grilling. The house itself was cleanly and had everything we needed. The beds were also very comfortable and the AC worked great. We enjoyed fishing and kayaking on the super private lake which was perfect for swimming as well. Thanks so much for letting us stay!
Nice home with plenty of room. Up north decor. Great little lake for fishing amd kayaking, also swimming. Kids caught lots of fish. Adults caught larger bass. Close to town and shops.
I stayed here myself with my 4 children ages 16, 14, 6 & 20 months. This property was absolutely perfect and exceeded our expectations. So homey and peaceful. Met all our needs. Wish we could have stayed so much longer. Thank you for creating a core memory for this momma and her crew.
The cottage is Beautiful! Spacious inside and outside, very clean and decorated perfectly for Up North. The pier is perfect. Great lake for fishing and kayaking! The grandchildren loved it! And extra bonus that our dog was able to come with. The only negative things were a broken coffee pot and a broken blind in one of the bedrooms. But those were very minor issues! We found a great coffee shop in town to get our caffeine fix to start the day so no problem! I highly recommend this place!
Truly Delightful!

Bring your own toilet paper but not your boat
Lake is not on the property. It is across the road, down a hillside with railroad for steps. 28 steps no railing.
no rowboat as depicted in picture and no sandy beach. We could swim and fish off dock. The pier was new but not real secure and no railings. two plastic like kayaks but no lifejackets. My parents in their 70's and we would not have rented if we had known about the steep hillside to get to the lake. Do not recommend for small children or seniors. Unrealistic amount of toilet paper and garbage bags. Bring your own toilet paper and garbage bags.
Host accused us of breaking the toilet the first night we were there. staff said the toilet was fine and wouldn't fix it. He finally sent a plumber over and never sent staff to deal with plumber. our vacation we had to deal with the plumber for several hours. We had only 1 toilet for our whole stay because the second toilet wasn't working and the plumber said it was an on going problem.
The yard and fire pit were very nice. Lots of chairs and deck furniture. There are deer walking in the yard. Unfortunately there is also an airport that shares a fence with the back yard. There is a tree line so you don't see the airport but you hear the planes. The flight pattern takes them over the house. The kitchen amenities were nice. There is not tv service provided. The host we called, David, was rude. Refused to unlock the third bathroom after offering. We paid a lot of money for lake property with boat.
