Great location. We didn’t need a car and the bus stop was very close so we could move around the city easily. We didn’t mind the stairs and space was lovely. Host was fantastic and the communication was excellent.

The property was awesome. The owners were always kind and available. The place slept three comfortably and the small kitchenette was great. The location on Porter street was also in a great neighborhood.

Nice apartment, perfect location

Good location close to Georgetown, American University in a safe, upscale neighborhood. Apartment was bright, airy and quiet. Would stay here again when visiting friends in Georgetown

Host was lovely and accommodating...

He allowed for an early check-in so I could go straight there from the airport. I had a perfectly fine stay and the apartment served my needs. It is also located on a very pretty street. There were a few small annoyances like hiking up to the 3rd floor with the last staircase being a metal spiral staircase. This is not terribly easy to navigate with a suitcase but I managed it. There was an iron but no ironing board but again, I managed. I spread a blanket on the kitchen table and used that. Lastly, the walls are fairly thin... I heard a lot of parental scolding and loudish children. I don't know if this was the people below me or neighbors next door or behind me in the alley. These were all small inconveniences... nothing that ruined my stay. The location was also perfect for me - it was very close to the Nat'l Cathedral and all the events I was attending were in that immediate area. My uber to Tenleytown was 5 minutes.

My two-night stay at this property was ideal! Great location, easy access, spacious accommodation, and gracious host contributed to a very pleasant experience. Definitely would book it again.

five flights of stairs plus one metal circular stairwell before you enter the apartment

MUST climb five flights of stairs plus a spiral staircase. It is NOT indicated in the listing. Be aware. I am sixty-five and healthy but have a left arthritic knee. So I was not able to climb the number of stairs.The owner is very nice and responsive.

Very Nice Apartment

Everything was just as advertised. The cleaner had overlooked something and Etienne was there within minutes to fix it. Such wonderful attention and service. I highly recommend.

Lovely suite

We had a wonderful stay at this well appointed suite. No problem finding parking. Be aware that there are lots of stairs and a spiral staircase to get to the suite.

3rd flr Cleveland Park walk-up

The host was wonderful and very responsive and friendly. The rooms are nicely furnished and the king size bed is comfortable. There's a lovely stall shower in the very modern bathroom. The kitchen sink is a little small and there isn't much counter space, pans or kitchen utensils if you're planning on cooking. It's about a 30 minute Uber to museums and other DC attractions. The buses and train are only a short walk. Street parking is available first come first served. Overall it's a very nice place and nice area, but a little far from downtown. last

Enjoyed Washington, DC!

Thoroughly enjoyed our trip to Washington DC. Restaurants, subway and grocery store were all within a 10 minute walk from the apartment. Great location overall. Apartment is only accessible via a narrow spiral staircase, so is not easily accessible for all.

Comfort, quiet in a great location

This property is a small penthouse in a safe, quiet neighborhood near, but not in the middle, of Washington. Transportation and nice neighborhood bistros and shopping are nearby. The property owners live onsite and are sensitive to their guests needs. The accommodations are spacious with everything one needs, and more.

Thanksgiving 2023 week

Well appointed, spacious, and bright attic suite with fireplace and terrace. Nice neighborhood walking distance to grocery store, cafes, and restaurants. Comfortable king bed. Spiral staircase was not a problem, but something to watch out for some guests. Much enjoyed our stay and specially sitting by the warm push button fireplace. Highly recommend.
