Love Lane Farmstay- Romantic couples Cottage Escape

Love Lane is a quaint, bespoke cottage nestled on a picturesque 39-acre permaculture focused farm in the amazing Tweed Valley, and sitting on its very own 3 hole practice golf course with club house.
Enjoy romantic starry nights by firelight and relax whilst watching an outdoor movie next to the festoon laced firepit, or soak in our luxurious outdoor extra deep cast iron bath or cool soaking trough under a canopy of illuminated trees and endless nights sky with endless privacy.
Our beloved cottage is a fully self-contained, 1 bedroom cottage and has a separate toilet and shower, legendary king size comfort bed and linens, BBQ, a huge selection of classic DVD's and an old school arcade gaming machine.
I’d be happy to organise a masseur for you both or you may choose to massage one another with our massage table and homemade oils (extra fees incurred)
The magnificent Northern Rivers Rail Trail is just up the road. We have 2 Specialised bikes to explore with.
Love Lane is 40 mins from Byron, 30mins from the GC, 25 mins from the beach, 10 mins from the artsy Murwillumbah and 0 mins from serenity.
We include tea and coffee, and farm fresh goodies when possible.
No cleaning fee
We will leave feed so you can feed our free roaming sheep, chickens and ducks. The cows are not to be fed by guests

EXTRAS
•With prior notice, we can prearrange some indulgent pampering with a Couples or individual Massage by our own Massage Therapist in your very own private living room or under the trees, with a wide view of our serene farm with grazing animals and orchard. *This is at an additional cost of $125 per person and subject to availability and payable at property direct. ($50 non-refundable cancellation fee if cancelled within 48hours prior to massage)
•Or you can opt to hire our massage table with towelling and homemade oils for just $45 for your entire stay.
•The kayaks are for hire for $10 each with 24 hours notice. Hire is at guests own risk and comes with life jackets. There are some beautiful creeks, rivers and dams within 25 minutes drive so if you have a Ute and tie downs you’re not going to be disappointed.
•The bikes are for hire, free of charge with notice. You can explore the Northern Rivers Rail trail which is just a 5 minute ride just up the road. Again hire is at guests own risk and helmets and lock will be supplied. We ask that guests give 24 hours notice to hire so we can make sure the equipment is out of storage.
•The cool soaking trough is a great way to relax on a hot day/night. Completely private and nothing but farm views with animals, paddocks and the water Lilly laden dam. The trough water can be provided with 24hours notice. It is $40 and is filled with fresh rainwater for every guest. There are no filters or chemicals used so it is up to the guests discretion as to how many times it is used before emptying. We would recommend emptying after the second day. We use this water to hose our gardens and lawns.
•We have an awesome outdoor projector for your use with over a hundred classic choices of DVDs (or you can bring your own hard drive). We just ask for 24hours notice so that we have enough time to fully charge it. Fantastic for watching a movie in a hammock, by the fire ❤️

Where possible you will be greeted with some of our very own seasonal farm-fresh produce which may include eggs, honey, fruit, vegetables and herbs.

Our outdoor bathtub and fire pits are our most popular assets-both of which are particularly indulgent in the cooler months. We will provide some cozy robes to keep you snug

The farm has plenty of beautiful backdrops for photo opportunities or shoots as well.

The cottage and everything within its boundaries are for your own personal use.
You may feel free to go for a wander up the hill to the orchard to pick some fruit or have a look around the waterhole via the large paddock in front of the cottage if the gates are open and there are no animals in it

You may see us tending the farm but your privacy is important to us. We will be contactable should something arise, but otherwise we will hang by the main residence which is at the main entrance to the property.


By day check out the local Artisan markets, trek our local rainforest bush walks or for art lovers The Tweed River Art Gallery is only 8 minutes down the road. The Northern Rivers Rail Trail runs straight through Stokers

World-famous surfing beaches from Burleigh, Coolangatta, Cabarita and Byron Bay are all within a 35-minute scenic drive.

Cyclists can explore our very popular spectacular country roads or Northern Rivers Rail Trail. Foodies have endless choices (Tweed River House, and Husk Distillery are a must!). Better yet, maybe just hang in the hammock or have a picnic on the golf greens.
Festival-goers are only 20 minutes drive from Splendour in the Grass or Falls Festival and 25mins from Bluesfest
Only 15 minutes from Mount Warning, and 35 minutes from Gold Coast Airport or 45 from Ballina Airport. We would recommend hiring a car if arriving by plane as there are so many beautiful places to visit in the area and no UBER, with the closest supermarket about 10minutes away.

The BBQ, fire pit, projector, soaking trough, bikes and kayaks are all for sensible and cautious use only and pending no fire bans. Equipment is hired at users own risk and comes with safety equipment such as helmets and life jackets.

The outdoor projector is to be used with care and kept away from moisture, and stored away immediately after use. The projector has both HDMI and USB input ports. We provide an impressive selection of DVD’s
