This pet-friendly condo is the perfect choice for families or groups of friends who want to bring along their furry companions on their vacation. One of the highlights of this condo is its private terrace, perfect for al fresco dining and enjoying the warm salty breeze. Additionally, there is a balcony, providing an extra spot to relax and take in the scenery. It’s also conveniently located just a short walk from the pool area, making it easy to take a refreshing dip and enjoy some fun in the sun.

Condo is on a first floor

Spacious and comfortable, with a fully equipped kitchen with all the necessary appliances and utensils for cooking, breakfast bar and dinner table for you to choose where to enjoy your delicious homemade food. Featuring four bedrooms, each with its own full bathroom, providing ample space for everyone to have their own private area. One of the bedrooms offers six twin bunk beds! Perfect for kids or a group of friends. The other three bedrooms are equally comfortable and stylishly decorated, ensuring a good night's sleep for everyone
Bahia Mar is a property meant to be enjoyed. It has so much to offer for everyone; Kids will enjoy the playground and the walking trails so much! Everyone will enjoy the two pools with hot tubs and the beach deck on the property. It is an amazing spot to read a good book or to simply sit and relax. If you like tennis you can pack your rackets and enjoy a match on one of our two tennis courts. Gardens are amazing too! This is one of the biggest properties on the island and security is always on top of things. You will relax and enjoy your time there guaranteed

HOUSE RULES:

●    Maximum occupancy limit:  11 adults (including children)
●    No invited Guests are allowed.
●    To give access to the property it is necessary to sign the registration form and provide a valid ID (with photo and signature).
●    No smoking allowed
●    Minimum age to rent is 21
●    All people are required to wear wristbands.
●    Check in begins at 4:00 pm. Check out time is 11:00 am.
●    Rental includes two parking permits. Additional temporary parking permit may be purchased on site for an additional fee. Boats and trailers are allowed into the property for an extra fee. No R.V.'s or motor homes will be allowed on property.
● BBQ Grills: Available in the designated “Palenque” area. Perfect for a lovely outdoor meal with family or friends. 2 Burner BBQ Grill: $40.00 and 4 Burner BBQ Grill: $50.00
●    Great island activities include: Off-site bird- and turtle-watching, Beach four-wheeling, Horseback riding, Laguna Madre Nature trail. Walking on the island is also a lot of fun! 
●    Our rental properties are family oriented. Good behavior is expected from our guests, respect for property rules and other guests. No parties allowed. Minimum age to rent is 21 and must be present during the entire stay. 
●    We kindly request that guests respect the Resort/HOA rules. Failure to comply with their house policies is grounds for eviction from the property and/or fines vary depending on these rules. Please contact us if you have any questions.

Lots of maintenance needed. Uneven stairs to bathroom
Lots of maintenance needed. Washer and Dryer was not usable. Washer had mold and the dryer vent was rusted. Air conditioning was draining thru the vent in the king room bathroom with a puddle of water constantly on the floor. The spiral staircase up to the bunk room and the small twin room was very steep. In the bunk room, to get to the bathroom, there are 2 large uneven steps. The back sliding doors were too dirty to see thru and did not have a handle on the inside making it extremely difficult to open the door. Kitchen was not well equipped. Bring your own pans if planning to cook. Oven element in the bottom of the oven did not work only top element. One of the upstairs shower door would not close. Towel racks were falling off the walls. Great to have 4 showers but not enough water pressure. Couldn’t take showers at the same time. Outdoor patio had over grown weeds. Beds were super uncomfortable and squeaked loudly with every turn. This is so sad because it’s a great location close to the beach and the pool and hot tub.

The property manager never responded to my initial emails resulting in us having to change our vacation dates. pros: The location is perfect - close to beach and pool. It was also spacious. And our teens enjoyed having their own space upstairs. The bathrooms are small but each bedroom had its own bathroom which was convenient. The property lacked on the following areas: We did not receive a key to work out room and I had to ask on 2 consecutive days before receiving it. We requested a couple of extra beach towels so everyone in our party could have one which also took asking on 2 consecutive days of calls. The dishes in the cabinets were all dirty so we had to wash them before using. The washer/dryer had some black dirt/SAND that stuck to our clothes when we attempted to use it. The patio had a beautiful view of the ocean but no patio furniture to sit and enjoy the view.
