Stayed for a week while visiting family. Property was as described. Place was very clean, well set up and had everything we needed. The view was amazing. Extremely happy with our stay and would definitely stay here again.

We had the most amazing time! Gorgeous spot, just what we wanted. The tiny cottage has everything that you need, lots of storage space too. Bed is comfortable. I have already recommended it to friends and we will definitely be booking again!

Cozy lakeside tiny home

We enjoyed a lovely couples’ getaway here! Beautiful view of the lake and a cozy country location. Within driving distance of many lovely locations to explore in Nova Scotia.

Lovely tiny house

We used the lake house as our “home base” while seeing some of the sights on our vacation. It was a very comfortable cozy place, nice view, and very friendly hosts!

Beautiful Views

Cute and cozy place to stay with beautiful view of the lake.I stayed here with my husband for his birthday getaway.Very close to truro and other sight seeing areas that we visited.

Centrally Located in Nova Scotia

We stayed here to be centrally located between Cape Breton and the Halifax area. It was a great place to end each night…the view from the deck (and the bed) was amazing!

It was a perfect place to lay your heads down after a full day of exploring and hiking. The tiny house had everything you need and enabled us to have our coffee, morning breakfast and dinner on the grill. You can’t beat the view.

Delightful! Well appointed with lovely decor, and everything you need. Small but perfect for solo traveler (or close couple). Was in swimming every day and enjoyed yhe kayaks! Wonderful place for a getaway. Oh, and the hosts are awesome.

Shortt’s Lake Tiny Cottage

Lovely sunrises our our front window. Close to Truro with its beautiful Victoria Park, Dalhousie Ag. Campus gardens and great coffee & scones at Novel Tea & Coffee. Easy drive to the Eastern Shore and Halifax airport.

Was quite until the neighbor's dogs were out side and barked at everything and constantly. Very loud and right beside the bunkie. Internet was very slow. Very clean though.
