About this property

The Rest Family Cottage with Resort Style Pool

Summary:

This character filled home offers exposed beams and a beachy feel throughout, set amongst tropical palms in a quiet cul-de-sac,with a new resort-style backyard, you won’t want to leave this relaxing haven. We love Noosa Hill because it's a leafy ten minute stroll (3 min drive) to world renowned Hastings Street and close proximity to Noosa National Park. Short 3 min walk to restaurants, bars, cafes, pilates studios, boutiques and spas. This home is situated perfectly for your Noosa beach getaway

The Space:

The house flows over two levels with the kitchen, dining and living area on the entry level, there are two double bedrooms on this level with the main bathroom. There is a generous sized balcony overlooking the lush tropical garden and private heated tropical pool. The top level is gorgeous with master bedroom and ensuite bathroom, and a children's room with 2 single beds.

There is a children's room downstairs (outdoor staircase to access separate room). This room has a TV, comfortable couch and basic children's toys. There is a fuse ball table and a ping pong table in the children's retreat room downstairs.

Amenities include resort style yard with a heated lagoon pool, spacious balcony with Weber Genesis BBQ, full kitchen, open plan living/dining, separate living/lounge area ideal for the kids and Premium Fast Internet. Bed, bathroom and beach linen/towels are included. We also provide starter basic condiments like laundry/kitchen detergents, soap, hand wash and basic pantry to get you through your first night.

Guest Access:

You have complete access to the house, pool and double car driveway. We keep it well stocked with every appliance you need to walk in and start relaxing. We love to cook so you'll find that the kitchen is well stocked with everything you need to prepare family meals if you desire to do so.

The Neighborhood:

Noosa Hill is where the locals live between the trendy hustle of Hastings Street, and the rejuvenated Noosa Junction which is where you will find Coles, funky restaurants, gourmet cafes, cinema and bars. There are some great cafes and little restaurants if you don't feel like going down to Hastings Street. The Reef Hotel is a great pub just a five minute walk and provides Children's entertainment.

Hastings Street is a ten minute walk down the leafy path and this is where you will find Noosa Main Beach, as well as great shops and restaurants.

If you love walking, running or beach fishing, the secluded Alexandria Bay is a beautiful 3km away through the national park (park entrance just 100m from the cottage).

Sunshine Beach is also minutes away. We provide guests with tips for the best local eateries and places that most visitors don't know about.

Getting Around:

You can easily get around on foot, but if you have a car you can explore a bit more of what Noosa has to offer including the river and small towns close by. Uber is commonly used in Noosa, there is a bus depot in the junction and the Tourist office in Hastings street can help with all attractions including Australia Zoo and Eumundi Markets. There is also a local taxi company and a hire scooter company.

Other Things to Note:

Noosa Council Local Laws & Noise Restrictions

Our local council have passed new laws for all holiday accommodation properties in the Shire from the 1st of February 2022. The laws are mostly in regards to any type of excessive noise that will disturb our residential neighbours at any time but especially after 10pm at night. Excessive noise is deemed as loud talking, laughing or singing as well as loud music or screaming and shouting. Council have a 24/7 complaints hotline for residents of Noosa and a security team member will need to respond to complaints with 30 minutes, either via phone call to you or a visit to the property. If this occurs during your stay the charge for the call / callout will be submitted for payment to the main guest. Please remember these are not our individual host rules but are Council laws which we must respect to keep our holiday management rights for the property. These are reviewed annually and will be declined if complaints are made. We kindly ask you not to take your frustration out on our team.

These laws also include lights being left on at night, excessive car parking (or parking on front of neighbours properties) and use of other residents' bins. Please ensure that you are aware of these laws as they have been agreed to in our terms and conditions.

The pool is heated to around 21-24 degrees during the cooler months of Winter only (1st May - 1st October) . Please note this temperate is subject to change depending on how cold it is and how much rain occurs.

Noosa Pool and Spa services the pool each Friday in Summer and every second Friday during the cooler months

Beautiful home with fantastic amenities and Hasting street in walking distance. Kitchen had everything you needed. Pool area was great .Only slight negative was for tall people in the upper ensuite with the raked ceiling. Would definitely stay here again.
