I usually don't leave bad reviews, and we knew that this condo was a bit out-of-date and that's usually fine with us. However, the condo's photos really didn't depict the reality. It was clean (I think), but didn't feel clean. The rugs throughout seemed worn and dirty and the bathtub didn't seem clean either. The bottom rack of the dishwasher had no wheels. There was excess stuff stashed everywhere leaving us not much room for our things (i.e. excess bedding that was not being used, paint in jars in the bathroom closet, games that no one likely plays, DVD's that no one likely watches, Christmas decorations, old drapes, etc.). The pull-out couch mattress was comfortable, but wrapped in plastic which made it hot and noisy according to my son. The king mattress was also uncomfortable and sounded like it might have been wrapped in plastic, too? The king bedding was nice, but a down comforter is too hot for Florida in the summer. The sofa was cheap and scratchy. We actually left a day early because we were just kind of over being in the place.
On a positive note, beach was fantastic and we really love the location at Commodore's Retreat. This was our second stay there. There was plenty of space to park, and the condo had plenty of towels and we appreciated the beach set-up (chairs and umbrella). My teen boys slept well (one in a bunk bed, one on the pull-out couch).
I would really recommend that the ownership update this condo and give it a good cleaning and clean out!
